Malorie Blackman is one of the UK’s best-loved writers for children and young people. When Malorie was a child, she loved reading, but books by Black authors were hard to find. When Malorie became a writer, she wanted to write the stories that she was missing as a child. She aimed high, hoping to create stories that would connect with children and young people from all walks of life. Malorie’s success has brought her many prizes and awards and has made her one of the country’s most beloved authors. Through this film series, follow her journey to see how Malorie transformed the world of writing for children and young people.
