Stress hormones are dumped into the bloodstream some bodily processes are speeded up while others are slowed which allows bodily resources to be applied where they are needed. As the body's defenses come into balance, symptoms of the alarm reaction disappear.

. When I begin to feel a alarm reaction, I can feel my body become tense and I begin to sigh in a sign of disbelief sometimes headaches or shortness of breath depending on the severity of the problem. During the stage of resistance, I tend to try adapt to the situation and try to figure out resolutions in my head but tend to become overwhelmed with the situation which leads to a stage of exhaustion where I develop anxiety or a feeling of anxiousness, I tend to want to neglect the outcome but I turn to resolutions to reduce my stress such as taking slow deep breaths while analyzing and assessing the situation in my head. When things become completely overwhelming I turn to meditation or grounding with nature to bring me a sense of relief. Medication is my last resource to cope with stress if things become overbearing, but I tend to follow these solutions first to reduce my intake and take a natural route.
