We think patriots because colonists where charged for items that they used everyday. Another reason why we would be a patriots is because we overpowered the people from England to fight for our freedom, and if we didn't we would need to live with all these rules and all these taxes. We choose to be Patriots because we wouldn't want to pay for taxes, on everyday items. We also think that since a lot of colonists fought in the war, they shouldn't have to pay for taxes because they fought for us. Also, the colonists had many key figures that were Patriots. We would be Patriots Even if it was getting that hard they could run farther into the country. They do pay so much taxes because they disobeyed the king so they had to pay more to the king. instead of wasting money to king gorge III they could go back to the England colony.Doing the right thing in history. We would be loyalists because of 2 main reasons. First off, England has more people in their army to fight the 13 colonies. The England army would most likely deafeat the 13 colonies in a war. It would also be safer with this big army in front of you. It would be much safer as a loyalist than a patriot. Also, if you were a loyalist you can get necessities not wants like food, and water, instead of money.  There was a lot of famous loyalists. We want to be loyalists because its much safer and we don't have to live in fear. The patriots are more likely to be hurt, put in jail and even killed.  Plus, we will he on the King's good side. We picked Loyalist because it is the safer option. if we were Patriots we would risk getting taking over by Red Coats ,taxes and we would rather be loyal to the king. Our group decided to be Patriots over loyalists. We think this because we have the right to follow our religion, and we have freedom. We do not want to be bossed around by a ruler, we want freedom. Also if England keeps taxing us then eventually they might take over the U.S. and then another country then another. However, we would like to be safe. If we are a Patriot, there is a big chance we will get caught and get arrested by the redcoats. But if we are careful, we will get what we want. We decided to be the Patriots because it's totally unfair that the loyalists raised taxes on neccesities or things people enjoy. The king is way too greedy. People enjoy tea, but the loyalists put taxes on the tea, so the best way to respond?
