The way George became involved in the war for freedom was his high intelligent and great leader skills. George was able to lead a bunch of farms to win a war against the strongest military at the time. If George never got involved then the colonies wouldn't of won the war or gained freedom. The reason why is because Washington played a very big role in the many battles.
