Social media posts have the potential to raise awareness about the environmental damage we are causing. In the following video post, the issue of waste mismanagement is discussed, fostering a sense of solidarity and, most importantly, creating a positive impact on those who engage with these posts through shares, likes, comments, and other interactions. This is achieved by leveraging the cognitive dissonance theory.

This is a facebook post in a group that shares about street art, we can see social and political recognition by the images but also by the text "we can not look away". This is a common element of political recognition where the people can not physically help, creating material to share and to spread awareness.

Here is another post that illustrates the dedication of a teacher who went above and beyond to help street children study. This act becomes an exemplary model, serving as an inspiration to encourage more people to be kind, donate, give what they can, and, above all, contribute their bit. Such posts, by highlighting positive examples like this, can strengthen social identity by fostering a sense of community based on shared values and altruistic actions, in line with the Social Identity Theory.

As we can see in the reactions of the photo, people agree with the comment posted where they say that the woman in the picture it's covered up, in this posts we can understand the problem that comes from an intrinsic sexism and misoginy, and also exposes how illogical this is, giving online recognition to something that happens everyday.

This post made by a group of queer unionists for Trans day of Visibility highlights how, as Fraser says "recognition aims towards justice, cultural and economic justice. If one is not socially recognized, cultural injustice occurs; and distribution targets economic injustice. These Queer unionists highlight the relationship between social transphobia and the economic impacts of this, with a lack of safety at work, being less likely to be hired etc transgender workers are economically penalised through insecure working conditions as a result of the social injustices. In an impact to combat this they have created a post on social media, explaining this situation and calling on Cis people to stand with them to build a better future for all.

Fraser explains that recognition can promote differentiation, but redistribution works to eliminate it. For her, recognition aims towards justice, cultural and economic justice. In this post we see someone talking about a problem being adressed in a different way, as people twist words to their own convenience.

The tweet underscores a powerful sense of solidarity among Palestinian workers and their allies, disrupting perceived injustices in the form of apartheid sea lines. The call for a ceasefire and sanctions reflects a plea for international acknowledgment and intervention, emphasizing the pursuit of justice. The workers' commitment to continued action reinforces the ongoing struggle for recognition. The aspirational statement, "As long as it takes, Palestine will be free," echoes a broader quest for recognition, aligning with the theoretical frameworks of Charles Taylor, Axel Honneth, and Nancy Fraser. Taylor's emphasis on acknowledgment and respect finds resonance in the call for solidarity, while Honneth's notion of the struggle for recognition is evident in the disruptive actions against oppressive systems. Fraser's politics of difference is reflected in the demands for just and equal treatment on a global scale.
