Last year, as we examined the Greek culture, as well as Greek myths, many mythical stories race throughout my mind, as each character and action have a large amount of symbolism behind it. Additionally, throughout pop-culture, many authors tend to write about Greek Mythology, such as Rick Riordan. Through his series of Greek Mythology, including Egyptian and Roman mythology. Rick Riordan is an author who writes various series about different groups of mythology, including Greek, Roman, Norse, and Egyptian. There are some of my favorite series. And for that reason, they embody the term myth. In his stories, Rick Riordan creates characters with traits such as bravery and sacrifice. While most mythology has some far-fetched events, such as Thor's goats which live to be eaten. Most of these myths have a moral for the reader to take from and to learn. For example, in the greek myth, "The Tortoise and the Hare," the reader learns to take things slow and steady. In many myths, there are greek gods, animals, or other fictional characters that do not appear normally. Also, the movie "Hercules," comes in mind because it is a story that was passed dow  from generations before, but now it is real. Many of the stories that are thought of as mythology are from the greeks and they may pertain to the greeks. I also think about the sculpture heads from museums and artists, which are usually supposively greek gods/goddesses. When each god or monster makes a mistake in the story, it proves to the reader that no creature is perfect, but we must correct or hinder our mistakes. After reading about these characters mistakes, it seems as if each story is there to teach a life lesson from amazing creatures.
