I think we overlook the importance of listening as leaders. Somewhere we got the message that we should do all the talking. I find when I listen, I'm a much better leader.

Completely agree with Simon Sinek about people getting promoted to be managers because they can do the job in hand better than others, but that doesnt mean they are leaders.
