         <description><![CDATA[<div>Vision is an important factor in our movement, seeing as sight allows us to visualize the world around us, the eyes serve to inform the brain of the state the body is in, in relation to its surroundings. Visuals are sent to the brain so that the brain may act and send signals to the muscles and joints of the body to maintain balance.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Our muscles and joints have nerves called <em>Proprioceptors</em> which are capable of receiving signals related to movement. When our body moves, these receptors let us sense movement, where our body parts are, and what action the body is doing even when we don’t have vision, and with this, allows for the perception of our balance, therefore helping us maintain it.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The system responsible for the majority of our balance is located in our inner ear, near the myriad of other bones and organs that respond to auditory stimulations. Motion done by the head in any direction, will affect the organ system without our inner ear called the vestibular system, consisting of semicircular canals, the insides of these canals are lined with tiny hairs or <em>maculae</em>, which detect movement of the fluid inside the same canal. When the fluid moves, the receptors of our vestibular system detect the movement, sending it to our brain for the evaluation of our balance.</div>]]></description>

         <title>As John bangs his head as he enjoys the music, his eyeballs go in the other direction. The eye muscles send signals to the vestibular system to gain balance, which is known as the Vestibular Ocular Reflex, because vision is important in motion to direct our motions. This will now transmit a signal to the proprioceptive system, allowing the body to be aware of the space in which it is moving while the rest of the world is not, and signals from the legs, ankles, knees, and neck muscles will also assist us in retaining our balance.</title>
