         <description><![CDATA[<div>1. The pros of teaching phonics systematically and explicitly.<br>2. The teacher models an example to the whole class of an easy one-pattern phonics lesson for a week, and this gradually progresses in difficulty within the next weeks. Independent work and homework is given throughout to assess understanding.<br>3. If one student is not improving with the rest of the class, you have to find a way to supplement their instruction without them getting left behind, or the rest of the class not progressing as well. <br>4. Do you think teacher would prefer teaching phonics systematically or explicitly?</div>]]></description>
