• The reasons why I have selected these three universities is because, firstly they are close to central London. So I won’t have to travel very far. Secondly, I wanted to choose a course from these universities because from what I have heard and done a bit of research on, they are some of the best universities for fashion design courses. Also, they had some good or explained better things for EU students. That made those universities more trustworthy to me. 

The courses that I chose, I believe they are the best fit for me and they promise things I would really want to learn and explore. I had a bit of a tough time choosing the courses in the beginning, because I wasn’t sure as well what I really wanted to do. But, with a lot of research and reading what the courses offer again and again, i believe I made the right choices. I chose mostly courses with Marketing or with the business side of fashion. As I really want to learn how to make a garment but also how to sell it.

Before choosing my route, i had to do a small research in which pathway i could find myself more. But, because i already knew that i wanted to learn the business/marketing side of a fashion designer as well, it was easier for me to choose and do research on my route courses. But, i found out what i needed to correct and do best the next time i present. Same with my mock interview. I got nervous and every time i get nervous i can't find the right words and talk to much for no reason. My mock interview was very help too. I think that some of my strengths are, problem solving, drawings, teamwork and organisational skills. My weaknesses i would say that are definetely sewing skills, pattern-cutting and ability to focus on one idea or concept. My goals have remained the same since i started the course. I wanted to explore and learn as many skills as possible so i can know a bit of everything. Mostly gain sewing and pattern-cutting skills because it is the area that i am the most unexperienced. After this course i want to go to university, graduate successfully with even more knoweledge in my area and then gradually i would like to start my own label. 

To secure my next steps after this course, i need to attend my interviews, send portfolios and be the best me at those so i can secure a place at all universities that i have applied. Before the interviews, i need to do enough practise for me so i can get better at the weaknesses i had during my mock interviews. 

To achieve my target grade for the Level 3 Extended Diploma in Art and Design i will try and be more determined, focused and better at managing my time and planning. Of course i need to not forget to broaden my research and experiment more for my final major project.
