Theme: diversion
Response: There was one segment where Sarah says she wants to catch Adnan in the lie. Up to this point I thought that Sarah wanted Adnan to be innocent and kept introducing new people to the story to further prove his innocence. Maybe she keeps adding the people to create a diversion to catch Adnan in a trap.

Theme: the truth
Response: Jay is a very deceptive person and it really shows during the trial. He keeps changing his story and seems very o edge. He constantly lies about where he was and what happened. It could go a lot smoother if he would just tell the truth.

I believed and everyone else believed that Jay and Adnan were inseparable, apparently they just smoked weed together.
