My dear, this day has been a hell of a lot. Do you remember the camps that Mr. Adolf blabbered on about? Well, he has finally given me and a few others the same one. The camp is known as “Camp Alderney,” right by Lager Helgoland. Work is busy here.  Jews coming and going, left and right, big and small. Of course, this camp is designed to put labor into Jews that were “lucky” enough to come here. I’m in charge of stamping the number tattoo’s on Jews and making sure they are organized accordingly. There are barbed wires everywhere to ensure no escape. To be honest, I can’t bear a single day in here. Infants that have no use for Hitler are just killed on the spot, children and adults are worked to death, sending them to the gas chamber to die and hell ones that I am ordered by to not stamp are sent straight to it! It kills me knowing I have the blood of millions and millions on my very hands. Sometimes I wish I could help these boys and girls; at least give them a glimmer of hope but you know what will be of me if Hitler ever found out I was trying to help “vermin.” He’d slaughter me right with them! I hope you do understand what point I’m trying to make with the little time I have left to write this. I know you don’t agree with what I am doing, but you must understand that I am doing this to protect you. To protect our family.
