This is shown by a city in south of Mexico combining indigenous spiritual religions with the Catholic faith, by offering processions and prayer in rituals with natural factors like offerings of flowers. This is unique because American Catholics don't celebrate those who had died large scale like the Day of the Dead in Mexico.

One of the interesting aspects of the way the Catholic faith is presented there is the way they follow a devotional practice. A lot of their devotional practices are derived from Hindu and Syrian. This is unique because it's still representative of the most popular religion in their country while maintaining the ideas of Catholicism.

The Ethiopian Catholic church is very interesting because although the country has only two churches with only 0.7% of the population being Catholic, it is one of most strict Catholic practices in the world. This is because the country has deep roots that are intertwined with the ancient Israelites and the Hebrew Bible. The primary form of liturgical music in this country is a chant called zema, with slower, more traditional music. Food and fasting are a large part of this religion, with Catholics over the age of 13 required to fast at least 180 days a year.

It was originally rejected by the catholic church, but is was later adopted as the universal feast of All Soul's Day. It is interesting as it is a blend of Hispanic culture and catholic feasts. Day of the Dead is a day celebrated in America as well, but not to the extend of how it is celebrated in Mexico. Families will create alters, bring flowers, prepare elegant dishes, and put on costumes for a day of remembrance of prayer for friends and family members who have passed away.

This tradition is many major public processions in the streets of Spain that act out and bring to life the events of the Passion. The public has a chance to participate in the story and the processions engage many Catholics who do not often go to Church. They also help deepen the faith of many Catholics in Spain. Many cities in Spain compete to carry out their processions better than other cities as a symbol of pride for their faith.

In Jordan the Muslim population is dominant with a small percentage of Catholicism. Catholics in Jordan worship on different days than normal Catholics to be in line with Muslim culture and work week. Catholics also refrain from eating pork in respect for the Muslims. While Muslims don't drink alcohol they still allow Catholics to consume it without judgment. In a world today where people find it hard to coexist with people of different beliefs it is very special and unique that something like this can happen in Jordan.

It is a nontraditional approach within the Catholic Church, making it more dependent on the highly popular movement. It is made easier for followers to participate. Padre Marcelo Rossi sings about Charismatic Catholicism because it is a better fit for Brazil, which ultimately bring people back to the Catholic Church.

Large pictures and crucifixes are displayed over many of the houses of Catholics. Catholicism is valued so high that large rosaries and beads are worn around the necks of citizens. It is a very common thing to see worship in the streets as well. Many people chant and sing praises of Jesus as they walk in the streets. This chant has been passed down orally, and written down as well, since the 6th century. it is rather slow and has become crucial to her liturgy. It constitutes the only native music of Ethiopia, which is why they still are singing it today.

The most interesting aspect of Ugandan Catholicism is domestic worship. Catholics worship in their homes and use them as places of prayer. Many Catholics have shrines in their homes of Jesus, Mary, or other Biblical figures.

Respecting the dead have always been a part of this faith.

All around the world church is mostly held on the weekends but in Jordan the day most widely known as the sabbath day is meant for work. In Jordan worship services are held on Fridays only while Saturday and Sunday are set aside as days of work.

During the Easter Vigil, they build sawdust carpets for Easter procession in Brazil. Each family is assigned their own section of the street to design their own art work(sawdust carpets). This is one way that shows how important the Easter Vigil is for the people in Brazil and how it is significant part in their Catholic faith.

Ugandan martyrs are very important, with many days built to honor them. Homes are central to practicing their faith. Indigenous music is a big part of their church worship experience. This is unique because especially in the music we don't use bongo drum but piano and organs, and we don't include our "native" beliefs in our church experience.

The most prominent religion in India is Hinduism. However, Catholicism still exists within 1.67% of the population. One of the interesting aspects of the way the Catholic faith is presented there is the way they follow a devotional practice. A lot of their devotional practices are derived from Hindu and Syrian. This is unique because it's still representative of the most popular religion in their country while maintaining the ideas of Catholicism.

The music in El Salvador is really different than how we do it. It is cool and exciting. They only use stringed instruments because it is forbidden to have any organs or pianos. They are also are very poor so they take what they can get. It makes everyone get closer to God and feel God's prescence.

In Spain, a tradition that dates back to the 16th century occurs every year during Holy Week.

The Philippines has the third-largest Catholic population in the world. They also celebrate the faith with bright things like parades. This is interesting because of how small the Philippines is compared to other countries in our world that it has the third most Catholics. Their celebrations are interesting because they put a fun and lively celebration for our faith.

An interesting aspect of the catholic faith in Mexico is the Day of the Dead.

An interesting aspect of the catholic faith in Jordan is how they live with Muslims in harmony.

I found it most interesting aspect is the way they display images of christ and the saints. In their own specific art form and through shrines Indians display beautiful displays of their faith and devotion to God. I believe its important to be open with your faith, by having these displays we are open to all you come to our homes about our connection and relationship with God.

We found that the most interesting aspect of the Brazilian Catholic faith is their use of Charismatic Catholicism. It is a nontraditional approach within the Catholic Church, making it more dependent on the highly popular movement. It is made easier for followers to participate. It is not formal, making it more accessible. Padre Marcelo Rossi sings about Charismatic Catholicism because it is a better fit for Brazil, which ultimately bring people back to the Catholic Church.

the most interesting thing about Ethiopian culture is the celebration of Meskel or the feast of finding the true cross. when normally a minor celebration is the main celebration of the year. bigger than Christmas and Easter. it includes a tree burning to show the smoke that lead to st Helena finding the true cross. it also includes biblical parades and large group dancing, along with big drums. the day also includes a liturgy and special feast, celebrated with friends and family.

One major feast is the Obando Feast of the Three Saints and the Fertility Dance. This feast is famous for an unusual factor, a fertility dance served in the form of prayer for couples hoping to conceive a child. This feast is celebrated May 17th through May 19th. The couples hoping to conceive attend the celebration and give thanks for the children who they believe were born during the intercession.
