Hi, my name is Sofia Figueroa, and I am 16 years old. I am a sophomore in Miami Senior High School. My favorite thing to do on a day off is to either relax in bed at home or to go out with my friends. I enjoy this because it gives me a break from school and lets me feel stress-free. My average day usually consists of me doing my makeup and lying in bed watching Netflix or TikTok. Sometimes I enjoy drawing and painting. In school I am taking two AP classes which are chemistry and calculus. It has shown me that I need to be organized and focused. The sort of life I want to lead is a life in which I have a job I enjoy and have fun in and to be surrounded by friends and family.

Feedback is like a compass that guides your team towards improvement. It's the information and insights you share with your teammates about their performance, ideas, and contributions. Think of it as a two-way street – not only do you receive feedback, but you also have the opportunity to provide it to your teammates.

Significance of Feedback Loops in Biology

Feedback loop is a regulatory mechanism that enables a biological system to adjust its behavior in response to stimuli, maintaining stability in the face of internal or external changes.Negative feedback loops function as stabilizing mechanisms, counteracting any deviation from the normal state. The hallmark of a negative feedback loop is its ability to reduce the impact of disturbances, ensuring that the system returns to its set point. A classic example occurs in the regulation of body temperature.positive feedback loops amplify the initial stimulus, driving the system further away from its set point. While often associated with instability, positive feedback loops are essential for specific biological processes.

Presentation feedbacks

The presenters' credibility was increased by their integration of obvious references into their content. Though there was room for improvement in terms of overall enjoyment, the team put on an engaging and educational presentation. These images improved comprehension in addition to making the material more interesting. The presenters worked well together, and it was shown in the polished and well-run presentation. Accuracy was guaranteed by the proper citations, which also promoted independent study of the mentioned sources and showed a dedication to academic honesty. Even if there was room for more amusement, the presenters did a decent job of getting their points out and made a good impression all around.

In 1886, Adolph Meyer demonstrated that a disease of tobacco plants, tobacco mosaic disease, could be transferred from a diseased plant to a healthy one through liquid plant extracts. A virion consists of a nucleic-acid core, an outer protein coating, and sometimes an outer envelope made of protein and phospholipid membranes derived from the host cell. Live vaccines are usually made by attenuation (weakening) of the “wild-type” (disease-causing) virus by growing it in the laboratory in tissues or at temperatures different from what the virus is accustomed to in the host. For example, the virus may be grown in cells in a test tube, in bird embryos, or in live animals. By far the most successful use of antivirals has been in the treatment of the retrovirus HIV, which causes a disease that, if untreated, is usually fatal within 10–12 years after being infected.
