Bringing up the Bell Hook's readings once again, it is clear that she thinks of feminist theory as a liberatory practice. It is taught to be used as an effort to take down things like patriarchal systems. Not doing much.

Practicing Theory

Practicing feminist theory on the other hand is using it proactively to fight against oppression and male-dominated systems. It’s important to use it because it shows the importance of a situation. We are still working against oppressor systems and should continue to activate the feminist theory.
