Scherr's designs often play around with scale, typography, colour and composition . her work draws inspo from a broad range of influences such as modern art movements like constructivism and Bauhaus. I personally really liked this piece that she did, i really liked the compositio of the words and the colours used in here to highlight different parts of text, which i think helped in separating and making things easier to read even though the words are all over the places

One of the key aspects to Carson's work is the use of typography, which he believes can be used to create emotion and a more visual experience for the viewer. With his style of art, his work becomes very chaotic and expressive.

I like the use of layering and collage. I think these techniques add more personality to the artwork because they are more freeing techniques that can be abstract or really busy.

Sorayama retains a very niche and unique style of futuristic hyperrealism. Combining sci-fi imagery such as human-like robots with themes like intimacy and Americana. This creates an instantly recognisable and distinct array of work.

His work appears to utilise software such as photoshop to create his work rather than literal traditional illustration due to the heavy realism he favours.

He is a Japanese artist born in 1947. His work is labelled as "Industrial design".

(By Laura): Leo and Diane Dillon were mainly illustrators of books (notably children's books and speculative fiction books). They are famous for their work for authors such as Virginia Hamilton, Margaret Musgrove, Harlan Ellison and many more. Their process was described by them as a third person that only exists when they work together. their work uses a lot of pastel, pencil, watercolour, block printing, collage etc etc. Leo Dillon was the first black artist to win the Caldecott Medal. Diane was the first woman to win the Hugo Award for best professional artist. They are both pioneers in the world of illustration for publishing.

(By Laura) One of the earliest graphic designers and artists using digital tools. She combined computer programming and the loom using early computers which didn't have the capability to display digital images. She was very interested in the potential of textiles and other decorative crafts as a form of protest. Conversations of the 60s and 70s, feminism and punk culture can be seen in her work.
