The Amazon forest go around 9 of the 13 countries in South America. 9 countries in South America are being affected by this because the smoke from the fire ruining the countries and they are all becoming polluted. There will be huge consequences if it isn't stopped now. The forest will start burning up and it won't stop unless the fire is gone. More and more people are trying to help but the current president of Brazil isn't taking and help and is dealing things by himself. The consequences for us are climate change, fewer crops and flooding. Logging is one the causes for deforestation. By making roads for hauling logs in and out of the rainforest Amazons have already loss 15 percent of the forest. The roads cover the soil with nutrients and the plants are left with soil that doesn't have any nutrients, then they die. Things you can do to help, are reduce your paper, oil and beef consumption. Right this very second acres are being destroyed for paper and wood. You can recycle your paper instead of throwing it away. There has been many reports all over the world about the deforestation of the Amazon Rainforest. B y humans burning or cutting down the trees all the animals of the rainforest are being effected. Even we humans are being effected. The animals are losing there homes and we humans are losing oxygen that we breathe little by little. Since the trees are the ones consuming the carbon dioxide to turn it into breathable oxygen for us. I believe something can be done to help save the amazon rainforest. Things like stop burning and cutting to make way for new crop fields and space for buildings. If we could just find other areas for humans to use for themselves. The amazon rainforest is a beautiful place we should not be mean and take it down.
