Would like to thank the doctors (especially Marina who kept my daughter updated after my surgery) and nurses at the hospital that were involved in my surgery and my stay in CCU and in 5N. I had surgery on my birthday, when I walked into theatre they sang happy birthday to me.

I would highly recommend the Royal women’s Hospital Parkville to anyone pregnant. The entire staff are absolutely amazing and even though labour was a bit traumatic myself and my partner felt like we were in the best care and well looked after! We didn’t encounter one staff member who made us feel uncomfortable. Everyone looked after us from the minute we walked in until we walked out 5 days later! Thank you so much, you have an incredible team of midwives, doctors and nurses ❤️❤️❤️

I would like to thank all the nurses and surgeons who took care of me after my operation at the women’s hospital in Parkville. The wards were almost empty but I was there with another lady and felt safe and in good hands. I wore a mask if I wanted to walk around the wards and all the nurses were covered in PPE. I was taken care of very well and recovered quickly. I can recommend the women’s hospital in Parkville to any woman who needs immediate surgery.

I feel so fortunate to have brought my daughter into the world at The Women’s ❤️ I was fairly nervous about being induced but the midwives and doctors ensured I was made fully aware of the process before giving me the option to proceed. From the very beginning I was made to feel very comfortable and at ease. I’ve unfortunately lost track of all of the names of the amazing midwives that cared for me and my baby during our stay, but every one of them were so lovely and extremely professional. Truly wonderful humans doing the most incredible work. Thank you for making my birth a beautiful experience, as well as involving my husband and taking such good care of our sweet bub. Endless thanks and love!

Fantastic in every way. Great service & staff within the whole hospital. Gave birth to my son in May(FTM) at Parkville and cannot flaunt the care and services I was provided with. I also had complications which led to a C-section and they always made sure I was happy and comfortable, even their hospital food was great! Can't say that very often with many hospitals!! For a first time mum, this was a fantastic hospital to have my son in and will return to this hospital in the future(if I am accepted next time)

“The Women with Individual Needs Clinic worked with me to go through what would be helpful to me at every stage of my pregnancy, birth and being a mum. They advocated for me to have my own room for our hospital stay, so that Angelo could be there throughout the night to help me, and it was great to have the clinic throughout my time at the Women’s, and beyond."

Celeste said the support from the neonatal therapists has made a world of difference for both Ethan and their family. “We’re so grateful that we were able to be part of [the Women's UPSTART] program.
“I really don’t think I would have progressed as well as I have done without the help of the lactation team at the Women’s. We talked through what was possible and what was probable and reset the way I approached feeding my babies, ensuring I looked after myself. It is so rewarding to know that even now, with my babies nearing the four months mark, my milk production is still increasing. I’m still using a bit of formula, but I’m so proud.”

I have never felt more taken care of by medical staff than i have with the royal women's hospital staff. They were so attentive and kind and i know without a doubt that i could not have received better care from any other facility. I have a new found appreciation for health care workers, seeing them always bubbly and supportive no matter what time of day it was, whether it be at 2am or 2pm. They made me feel safe, happy, and my physically painful experience was made as painless as possible. I never write reviews but as soon as i came home from a 2 night stint at the hospital i felt the urge to express my overwhelming gratitude to both the staff and the people who read this. Thankyou all who were involved in my aid and all who weren't. Just know we appreciate you :)

Have been wanting to write a review on this hospital for a long time. I had a very good experience at the Royal Women’s hospital. The clinic visits, birthing, aftercare - everything was extremely well organised. The facilities are top notch and all the staff were polite and professional - be it the doctors/midwives/lab/ultrasound/dietician - everyone gave us the right information and helped us throughout. I cherish every moment of my delivery thanks to the midwives who were with me throughout. A special mention to the midwife who took care of my delivery- Diane. She was like a robot running around taking care of each and every errand and was such a huge support to help me deliver my baby boy. I really could not have done it without her. Also I cannot stop without mentioning the NICU care. It was so good, the midwives are all the time around the babies to take care. Thank you for giving me such a wonderful memory to cherish all my life :)

could not be more satisfied and content with the hospital and its staff members. I had my first child two weeks ago and the treatment that I received from day one was admirable.I knew I was going to go public once I got pregnant because many people that I know recommended it to me. But I was not expecting the level of professionalism and care that I received.I had a rather long labour (more than 28 hours) and the midwifes and doctors were by my side all the time. I felt in the best possible hands and knew they were doing everything right. Even at the end when my daughter had to be delivered using forceps (something that we tried to avoid as much as we could) I felt that I was the right choice given the circumstances and knew the doctors and midwifes had it under control. They didn’t pass me any anxiety or worries, it was the opposite, I felt their support.I’m not missing being pregnant but I do miss being under the care of the RWH :-)

We had an excellent hospital experience at the Royal Women’s hospital from the ongoing pregnancy clinic care, right up to birth and the at-home aftercare. The staff were very generous caring people who made the birth of our first daughter a memorable and cherished event. My partner and I had spent a lot of time educating and informing ourselves on the options and choices we had during labour and birth which I think assisted our positive birthing experience - I recommend all pregnant ladies do the same as it gave us confidence, knowledge and peace of mind during much of the labour. The facilities at the hospital were brilliant, including the birthing suite. When arriving at the hospital in the middle of the night I was greeted by understanding and compassionate staff. The midwives who looked after me over the next 48 hours were all friendly, kind women who gave me confidence, care and guidance. We are very grateful to the surgeon, doctors and the number of other staff who tended to the birth in the early hours of the morning. The two midwifes that provided home visits a few days after we got home were very friendly and helpful. We feel very lucky to have been able to have our daughter at such a brilliant hospital

After a bumpy start to labour, these two managed to transform it into the most fun and exciting experience! They were like cheerleaders, who through every little roadbump remained consistently calm, optimistic, and encouraging! They honestly made my birth experience incredible, to the point where I can't stop telling people now how "fun" labour is. Because of them I have such great memories of labour, despite the pain and complications that arose. Baby came out healthy and I can only hope that we can request Millie for our next baby!

I have recently undergone a Laparoscopy for treatment of endometriosis. I want to express my gratitude for every one who took care of me over my 2 day stay. My entire surgical team made me feel safe & I felt my pain was believed for the first time. The nurses who took care of me in recovery, especially 2 nurses who stayed over time for me, Bec & Rose. They were amazing & I felt cared for, believed & knew I was in the best place. When I was moved to level 5 north, my nurses Clair over night & another nurse called Rose during the morning were just as amazing. Anything I needed they were there. The level of caring, kindness & safety I felt while staying at the women’s was beyond expectation. I wish to thank each individual nurse & doctor I interacted with during my stay. Thank you & bless each & everyone of you. I honestly wish I could hug & express how thankful I am to you all! Thank you- Jessica
