<title>One 15-year-old girl, who we&#39;re not naming to protect her privacy, said she was given an in-school suspension for wearing shorts that were to her mid-thigh. Her teacher suggested that her clothing was suggestive and that she was &quot;asking for it.&quot;</title>

Many girls wore yoga pants or leggings in defiance of the ban. “Not being able to wear leggings because it’s ‘too distracting for boys’ is giving us the impression we should be guilty for what guys do,” said Sophie Hasty, a 7th grader at the school, “We just want to be comfortable!”</title>

<title>Aniya Wolf, a student at Catholic high school Bishop McDevitt in Harrisburg, PA, was kicked out of her own prom this past weekend for wearing a tuxedo. <title>Appropriate footwear must be worn. While the definition of appropriate footwear varies, common banned shoes include flip flops, platforms, and spiked heels. This rule exists because some footwear may prevent students from reaching safety during fire alarms and similar emergencies. For example, Weymouth Township School doesn&#39;t allow flip flops, platform shoes or shoes with wheels for safety reasons.</title>
