La cuesta is located on the outskirts of Tegucigalpa. It is a distant and remote village. To begin with, the people are kind and collaborative, and many are also traditional nowadays, and are more respectful. Next, the places and trails like Cascadas Naturales El Manantial, where people enjoy swimming and walking. There are a few landmarks apart from Aqua splash or Residencial Terrasol. As well as the weather is very cool and refreshing, but in the summer season, it is very oppressive. Anyway, it kept refreshing. Secondly, people enjoy different activities like celebrations, from civic parades or municipal fairs. During Semana Santa, there are many processions. People have fun these days. Apart from that, they usually go to visit their families and have a good time. There are many traditional foods like pupusas, torrejas and nacatamales. At present, more people have left the village, but more people are coming to settle down and live quietly. All in all, La Cuesta is a little-known place, but it is quiet.

I’m from La Cuesta, Francisco Morazán. When I was a child, I often visited El Manantial with my family. In those days, we had fun going there because there were also swimming pools and play areas like a swing and the weather was sunny and cool, to refresh ourselves. Also, we took pictures of the waterfall, like the view. Then we had a barbecue and ate pupusas and drank Coca-Cola. There were some picnic tables, but there weren’t any fast-food restaurants inside. But there are small shops. Next, we played some board games. A long time ago, there weren’t many visitors as access was limited and a bit far away. These days more people visit it on vacation. In brief, my visit to El Manantial was fun and I still remember it.

If you visit La Cuesta, you can see beautiful views and different places to have a good time.
