Being social allows many animals to form bonds with their species. Species can even bond with other species, just by using a form of communication. It how animals trade information with each other. The signals that these animals send to each other goes through their sensory channels. There are different ways each form of communication works in the sensory channels. Visual communication is very effective throughout the day. Auditory communication is amplitude, and travel. This allows auditory communication to adapt to many different environmental conditions. Both visual and auditory communication travels faster, compared to chemical communication. This is because they diffuse for protection. But they can travel long distances, but will fade slowly. The last form and its signal channel is tactile communication. This is basically just physical touch, which is between the both sender and receiver.
