I think all topics are interconnected as we can create a PBL project related to digital skills with the aim of empowering students and promoting their active citizenship, for example. Together with gender equality and women’s rights these are my main areas of interest, and something I would be willing to research more deeply. The question right now is that I really need to pause, breathe, reflect and narrow my research question/interest, so I can come up with an idea for the action research plan. So, I’ll just follow Dr. Máirín Glenn advice.

My experience with the application of Action Research in English teaching shows that when students feel their voice is important and when they offer the topic of the project, then they are more committed to its implementation. The more autonomy I give them to choose what resources to use and how to structure the content, the more interesting products are obtained as a result of the project. 
I consider it important for my work to identify & hopefully implement some strategies on a/ time-management; b/ group members organisation; c/ how students could present their part of the work within the group, thus enhancing every student's performance and helping to promote better learning. 

As for teamwork, according to one of the shortest definitions of teamwork, it is "a joint activity to achieve a common goal". The ability to work in a team is part of the social and interpersonal skills that lead to life and career success.  Developing the skills for cooperation and teamwork between students transforms the atmosphere of the classroom and qualitatively changes the role of the teacher during class. In the 21st century, the ability to work effectively with others, to cooperate and interact with them is associated with the ability to think critically and solve problems, with the skills of communication and creativity. Moreover, this is a key skill for the modern work environment, in which interaction and exchange of ideas are key.

An in-depth understanding of the connection between these concepts in 6th grade is very important for training students to solve everyday problems related to them in upper grades and everyday life.
