         <description><![CDATA[<p><strong>A Prisoner of War’s Story” by Stratis Doukas takes place in September 1922 in Smyrna. The story begins with a young Anatolian Greek (Nikolas Kozakoglou), who was captured by the Turkish Army after the Greek-Turkish war.</strong></p><p><br/></p><p><strong>In Chapter 1, We learn about Nikolas's experience being captured. By discusses the challenging conditions that he and the other prisoners had to face during the exhausting and cruel journey. He is subjected to cruel treatment while being forced to march without much food or water. The Turkish soldiers abuse the prisoners by take away their property and abandon the survivors to the mercy of angry bystanders.</strong></p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Chapter 2 was significantly different from that of the previous chapter because the theme of escape and discovery of a familiar landscape. In this chapter, describes Nikolas and a companion escaping. When they finally made it back to his hometown, he found it completely destroyed and robbed.&nbsp;They split off to look for jobs and mask their identities in order to survive, thus starts Kozakoglou's difficult path of identity disguise and survival.</strong></p><p><br/></p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>A prisoner of war (POW) is a&nbsp;members of the armed,&nbsp;who was&nbsp;captured or held by the&nbsp;rivals&nbsp;during or after war.</p><p><br/></p><p>EX: Suppose that&nbsp;two groups are playing in a game, one team manages to capture a member of the other team. Similar to a "Prisoner of War," that individual is obligated to follow&nbsp;their&nbsp;rules and isn't allowed to play until the game is finished. Reality, during conflicts, opponents may occasionally be captured; these soldiers are referred to as prisoners of war.   As the prisoner are unable to leave until the fight is finished.</p>]]></description>
