A) Authoritarianism is a form of government where a small group implements strict rules- requiring the obedience to authority at the expense of personal freedom.
B) A difference between democratic and authoritarian regime is independent rights. Democracies ensure individual rights through a constitution and access to justice while authoritarian regimes require one to follow the state despite their personal benefit.
C) Democracies can become authoritarian with a strong following of a dictator-like ruler that can persuade a large following and can be responsible for a revolution or coup.
D) Authoritarian rulers can pursuade their people by allowing them to vote and making them think that they have the ability to participate in government. However this is a mask behind the authoritarian's true intentions which is to continue his large following in the country.

To add on, if the government becomes corrupt without the knowledge of the people, it can easily become an authoritarianism regime.

d) Authoritarian regimes hold direct elections in order to motivate the people into believing that they have rights.

a) Authoritarianism is a from of government where there is a very strong central power without the concern of the people
b) An authoritarien regime does not take into consideration the voice of the people while a democracy is all about hearing what the people have to say.
c) A democratic regime may become an authoritarian regime if the governors and the people in charge start ignoring elections and take over the power without letting it go.
d) Authoritarian leaders might use this method to make the people believe that they have some power but in reality the government is still fully controled by the leader.

Ignoring the people's voices.
d)The authoritarian government wants to market themselves as a free state, with the people's voices being heard, but really they have no say in the elections.

a) authoritarianism is a system of government in which the regime lies in the hands of one ruler who has absolute power over the state.
b) an authoritarian regime controls all aspects of the state and the lives of its people. A democratic regime gives the economic and political freedoms to its people that authoritarian regimes take away. All power in a democratic regime is concentrated in several bodies for a balance of power.
c) a democratic regime can become authoritarian when individual freedoms are taken away for the so-called "greater good" and put in the control of the state. Additionally. it can become more authoritarian when other government bodies begin to lose their power and all power is concentrated in a singular body.
d) a direct election for an authoritarian regime is intended to allow the people to cast a direct ballot for their candidate o choice. It can ease discontent for citizens who may not trust the government or are dissatisfied with the government.
