Before going on to perform we warmed up behind the stage with stunts,jumps,and tumbling. After we warmed up we got together in a group and talked about all the things that we were going to do including counting,smiling,being SHARP,and hitting together as a team. We went out and it was all starting off great until my group got to our stunt and we dropped it. I could see all the disappointment on their faces and I know they could see it on mine but we all tried so hard to keep our stunt up and to just keep smiling.

When the time came for getting our packets I was so excited and couldn't wait to tryout for the team. Every day that year of summer I would spend at least an hour and a few minutes trying to learn all the dances,cheers,and chants so that I would be ready for tryouts. I would spend time working on jumps and tumbling for the tryout to. When the day of tryouts came I was so nervous but also excited because I had worked so hard and didnt want to mess up at all on anything. After tryouts a few days later I found out that I made the team. I guess all the hard work and dedication to learning the dances,cheers,and chants really came through and I was very happy with myself.
