Nixon was going to be impeached but then he resigned. He is the only President to ever resign from the Presidency. He would’ve been charged with more but the next President Gerald Ford pardoned Nixon of his crimes. That didn’t give a good start to Gerald Fords Presidency. Relating it to times now many people compare Nixon to Trump because they both called for “Law and Order”.
