For “writing about reading” I chose the book “The Human Machine.”

The book talks a lot about how the human body works. For example, it has 2 full pages talking about your bones. It talks about how it holds up your body, and helps you to not be a snake.

Another part was about the circulatory system. It talks about how it helps you move around. The bones help the system stay stable, not move the human body.

The last system it talks about is the digestive system. It breaks down your food when you eat it, and it goes though your small and large intestine.

This is very interesting because it seems like you just close your eyes and in 1 second your alarm wakes you up but we actually think when we sleep.

Without our central nervous system we wouldn’t be able to act or think at all the thing that makes the central nervous system is our brain and spinal cord. So if we didn’t have our central nervous system then we would have short term memory loss but the only way our central nervous system breaks if our spine breaks because you can’t break your brain.

You can’t break your brain like a leg, arm, or etc. because if this happens you would possibly die but your brain can get injured like have a concussion.

In the book Why do fungi feed on dead plants and other odd fungi adoptions, one of Arthur's big main ideas is that fungi can be good and bad, I noticed because it says that some fungi are parasite fungi and they harm their hosts. Some of the parasite fungi are athletes' feet. Fungi can also be good because symbiotic fungi is where it lives with the host and everyone benefits. They can also be zombie fungi which is a parasite fungus and I can literally control its host mind to do whatever it wants. Saprophytic Fungi it’s dead things and makes you space for the things that need space and things are already living. I realize that fungi is very useful while I was writing this, because they produce food for us and some of the fungi actually helps make soft cheese , Fungi can also help clear out space is for the living plants and animals by getting rid of the dead plants and animals that are taking a useful space. Like I said some fungi can also live as a host and make everyone benefits.

In the book, “Gerbils and Hamsters” By: Sally Morgan I read about what Hamsters and Gerbils look like. The difference between wild hamsters and gerbils and pet hamsters and gerbils is that pet hamsters and gerbils have a wider color range than if they were wild. Hamsters are a little bit bigger than gerbils but it depends on the breed. Now that I’m saying this, I realized that it’s really cool how certain things change hamsters and gerbils when they were bred in a pet store! Like their colors!

Another thing I read about was how to choose your hamster or gerbil. I read that you should get them from 6-8 weeks old. I also read that you should always check that their eyes are clear. Not foggy. Being a hamster owner, I know that if their eyes are foggy. It means they are unwell and will not live as long as a thriving one. When choosing the breed of hamster. The author said, that Syrian hamsters make a great first pet! Smaller hamsters are harder to have because, they are tiny and can get away fast! Some smaller hamsters include Dwarf and Chinese hamsters. Most gerbils are Mongolian the author says. But recently pet stores starting selling fat tailed gerbils. Now that I think about it. I feel like this text is mainly compare and Contrast. Because the author is comparing Gerbils and hamsters to tell which one is right for you!

He was the star quarter back at his college ole miss he earned lots of awards and trophies and his team did very well. He was even named to the SEC all team!

In Archie’s nfl career he was drafted by the saints in Jan 29 1971. I used not think much of archie Manning but he had an amazing career with the saints he earned the most ever money payed to a rookie. In his rookie year he beat the rams who were predicted to got to the super bowl but the saints beat them . They also beat the Dallas cowboys who would win the super bowl that year.

Archie also gets really good stats like 3,416 passing yards 291 completed passes and 17 touch downs. He was also named nfc mvp nfc offensive mvp nfc and he was also chosen to play in the pro bowl. And the saints who used to be horrible were now doing ok. But then the saints started doing worse and worse and worse the fans were so fed up that they called the saints the aunts and put paper bags over there heads and booed the saints. Then archie was traded from the saints to the oilers archie said “ leaving the saints broke my heart”.

Archie Mannings career went downhill he played 3 games before being traded again to the Vikings. A few weeks into his first Viking season he was diagnosed with Graves’ disease , he recovered enough to ply a little before retiring in 1985.

Archie Manning was the first person on the saints wall of fame he was also voted in Mississippi the most popular and greatest all time player of the century. They talk about that rhinos don’t have the greatest eyesight, so sometimes when they feel threatened they charge. Rhinos have to rely on their senses to keep them safe. Another thing they trying to stop is hunting. This isn’t only for rhinos though. Many animals biggest predators are humans, and many animals go extinct because people cut down trees and destroy their home. They also hunt them until there is none left.

The challenger explosion by William Caper

The challenger is a space shuttle that exploded 73 seconds seconds after take off. It was one of the first space shuttles and there were 4 known crew members including the first mans on the moon Neil Armstrong.there was a SRB that had a rubber coil to prevent access gas from coming out. That’s where the accident happened. It was just a little mistake which I thought would’ve been bigger. The rubber coil started shrinking because it was cold so the access gas which the challenger couldn’t handle so it exploded. None of the crew survived. I didn’t think they would survive because it exploded so I was right. All the pieces landed on earth. Some of the crew members were specialists and one of them was a teacher and one other was a African American karate teacher. I didn’t think the crew would have Neil Armstrong but I was wrong. I also didn’t think a crew member would be a karate teacher but it makes sense because they were very fit and that person was one of the first 3 African Americans that nasa accepted. His name was Ronald E. McNair.
