I will always remember seeing this work at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York a few years ago. I just love the squat proportions and that amazing face! He's so darn cute!

Hieroglyphs played such an important role in ancient Egyptian art and you can see how the artists covered most of this sarcophagus with them.

This is one of my favorite pieces of art. The artist is from Toronto and uses his platform to talk about mental health, pain, and healing. This typography is his signature and this piece is all positive mantras. He shared his creative journey on his Instagram and talked about how smart it was for him to write down his pain and how he's now doing the same but with positivity. He said he is doing that to recognize that although he is tortured by the pain of his past he is equally touched by his life and the routes it's taken him.

This is the illustration done by But Chi for the book “The story of a seagull and the cat who taught her to fly”. I love cartoon-ish images. The illustrator showed the cat’ feelings and actions in a humorous and childish way making the story unforgettable.

I know this is one of my art pieces but I like to be honest when it comes to art, this is one on my favorite art pieces that I've made on paper with color. I chose this image because I like how I blend my colors together to show lighting and depth, I love to use color on my drawing and most of my art.
