If the different people do not empathize, and see things from the other's perspective, they will not come to an understanding and oral negotiation will fail which leads to war. War would never happen if two nations could see things from the others perspective and not from their own and can come to an understanding and negotiate a treaty without a violent war. War has no eyes because war happens due to being blind and not willing to be open - minded and not seeing things from the other's perspective. For example, if you are fighting over the last cookie with a sibling and do not empathize and are just focused on getting the cookie, a war can erupt between the siblings over who gets the cookie. During a war, a person's ability to empathize is lost and the opposite sides fight for what they want without empathizing. The word "War," can be traced back to the Indo - European word "wers," which means confusion.
