I think it is cool how they connected the story of Cerus and Persephone. There it was finally destroyed by the hero Theseus."

I thought that it was interesting how one figure from Greek myth, in this case, the bull that fathered the Minotaur, doesn't just disappear once its main purpose to the main story was served (the creation of a monster). The Cretan bull gets this whole backstory and end with its pursuit by two famous heroes, Hercules and Theseus, who on separate occasions had to confront it, making cameos in several different stories. Must have been pretty crazy times. It just goes to show what ingenious storytellers they had and why these stories have withstood the test of time.
