La historieta grรกfica consiste en la narraciรณn de una historia a travรฉs de una sucesiรณn de ilustraciones que se complementan  con un texto escrito. Tambiรฉn hay historietas sin texto. Se llaman historietas mudas. El autor de una historieta organiza la historia que quiere contar  distribuyendola en una serie de recuadros llamados viรฑetas.
