A famous book in my country that has been made into a movie is Hoa vang tren co xanh (temporarily translated as “Yellow flowers on green grass”). Literary critics hailed it more for its entertainment value than for its value as literature. Movie critics said that it did not transfer all the author’s ideas and messages. I agree with critics. Most of novels of this author usually bring gentle stories with simple sentences that easily attract readers. I think that the movie adaptation with only 2 hour duration limit could not express deeply the novel content is unavoidable.

The image of a white stork has become an indispensable symbol in the Viet Nam culture. The stork will be a close friend of Vietnamese. There are some old wives’ tales about birds in my country but I do not believe it. The reason is, I think whatever will be, will be. The birds are innocent.

The most well-known bird in my country is the swallow. This bird is related to good luck because it alerts that spring is coming and everyone welcomes the new year with many wishes about luck, health and fortunes.

I am not sure what is the main cause of melting glaciers. However, surely, humans are contributing to make the Earth warmer.

I think, obviously when the climate changes, lives of plants and animals would be affected, however like humans, they should adapt or else they would be fall into extinction.

I live in southern Vietnam. Usually, there are only two seasons in Southern Vietnam which are the rainy season and the dry one. In the dry season, it is hot and dry, of course. Last season was hot and extremely dry. The highest temperature was about 37 to 40 degrees Celsius. This kind of weather was very bad because the drought happened in many provinces damaging the economy a lot. Many people lived in a shortage situation of water.

I have never been lost before. Maybe, my parents looked after me carefully. However, my son is not as lucky as me that he has been lost three times. One time, he was lost in a supermarket. A guard took him to the Customer Service Center. Then they spoke through the speakers to find his parents (my husband and me). Thank God, it was only 5 minutes. We found him. I think it is important to be kind and helpful to others because kindness makes the world more beautiful, gives it more love and peace.

The content of the film was so attractive that most Vietnamese children were fascinated by the main actress. I would recommend that the movie is suitable for youth.

I have two, one is at my office, and one left at home.

The most impressive historical site I have visited is Phu Quoc prison. This prison is in Phu Quoc island, Kien Giang Province. It was impressive because it displayed how crucially prisoners were behaved in the past. It was established in USA – Vietnam war before 1975. So this site is much more than 45 years old. It is important to see sites like this prison so that people can see how horrible crime war can cause. I can not let my children to see this prison. I am afraid they would be haunted. If people continue to use such a great amount of plastic bags like they do today, the earth will soon be covered by plastic bags. My act will help reduce the amount of plastic bag and hopefully it will raise people’s attention in my neighborhood.

I learnt to do this through some books and websites about skin care.

I think that behaviour is too strong and rude to prevent further piracy. I think that there are other ways to encourage people to buy authentic albums.

I think men, in general, has a better memory than women. I think so because women often are affected by hormones especially after they have babies.

I have trouble remembering what to do in the future. For example, when I was washing dishes, I knew that I needed to throw the trash, but then promptly forgot it.

I have trouble with immediate and prospective memories which help me to remember what to do or something I need in the future. I must to remember them or else I would get troubles. For example, if I forgot to take my ID card to the airport when I were going to fly, I could not fly. The method I use to help me remember is using a remind app in my phone. I note every thing I need to do with an alarm at the right time. For example, yesterday, I needed to take some things from my parents’ house, I make a list of them then set time for it. This method works really well for my prospective memories. However, I still do not have solution for my immediate memories.

The legend of the sun. The long time ago. It had nine suns. So the earth so hot. Creatures die slowly. a brave man shot eight suns by an archer. Remain a sun warms the earth. 

 

These legends come form oral retelling. Maybe there was a great flood. It was also killed almost people and animals. Then the story about the flood passed word of mouth. Finally, the story has much variation.

I have received phishing messages many times. One time, one person mail me to introduce that he worked for a famous bank in Hong Kong. He said that one of his customers had just died. He could not find any relatives of the customer. The customer had the same family name as me. So he asked whether I could identify myself as a relative of that person. I said no, of course.
 2. How do you think the government and the police should deal with phishing?

I think the government and the police should create some hotline which people can call to inform some phishing case they are realizing. Thanks to this hotline, the crook could be tracked and arrested before he or she has finished the crime.
 3. What other kinds of Internet scams have you heard about?

Another kind of Internet scam is hacking Facebook account. By some means, a crook has got a Facebook account’s password. He or she will change the password so the owner can not log in to the account. To lure people, the crook will study the owner’s relationships to know some information of the owner’s friends. Next, he or she will chat with them to borrow a lot of money through Internet banking. If any of the owner’s friends believe in that trick, they will lose money. After receiving the money, the crook will withdraw all the money immediately. When the victim realizes the scam, it is too late to retrieve his or her money.

I think, If ghosts do exist, they appear in certain places and not others because when they died they had something unsolved and they felt full of regret.

I have heard that Truong Son National Martyrs Cemetery have many ghosts. The ghosts were soldiers or martyrs who died in America Vietnam war before 1975. I have heard that most of the soldiers died when they were young, and their deaths were catastrophic. Some families of the martyrs would like to bring the bones of the martyrs to their countries to bury. They asked mediums who communicated to the ghosts. Some ghosts said that they would like to stay along with their team. I have not been to this place. I do not know whether there are ghosts there. However, if I have a chance I would come there to show the gratitude and honor to the people who died for national liberation and reunification.

Legend of a flood I have heard is about a kind man who saved a woman. The woman was actually a god. So she warned the man about a great flood coming. The men noticed others but no one believed. Then the men family prepared a large boat. When the flood happened, the men's family went on the boat and they saved any people they could.

The legend came from some real event happened long time ago

A famous legend in my country is the Dragon and the Fairy. It's about Lac Long Quan, a dragon's son and Au Co, a fairy's daughter. Lac Long Quan and Au Co met each other and got married. Au Co gave birth to a pouch which contained 100 eggs. The eggs soon hatched 100 beautiful children. However Lac Long Quan soon remembered the sea while Au Co needed mountain. So they decided to divide. One brought 50 children to the coast and the other with 50 children went to the mountain. And they promised despite of distance they were still family. Vietnamese people believe that Lac Long Quan and Au co's children are their ancestors. They are very proud of their origin. The lesson Vietnamese people can learn is that all Vietnamese people are a united family.

I thinks that downloading songs from the internet is wrong. Because this make the artist lost income. They don’t try to make good song for audience.

I known funring.vn site that charge a free to download music. The fee is about 5000 VN dong for three songs.

I think men has a better memory in general than women because women worry something a lot, so they can’t remember everything. The men don’t worry everything so much, so they remember something easily.

Somethings are online studying, teaching my children that I have trouble remembering. Such as, yesterday I forgot the online English class.
