         <description><![CDATA[<div>- Diet and nutrition are modifiable risk factors.<br><br>- Article examined data until July 2007 (14 years old).<br><br>- 33 looked at the effects of fatty acids and vitamin b and levels of homocysteine. Studies showed, low homocysteine = reduced risk of Alzheimer's Disease and Dementia.<br><br>- Study concluded insufficient evidence about the impact on Dementia more results need to be looked at and longer studies done.<br><br>- Data is old and inconclusive.</div><div><br></div>]]></description>

         <title>Wellness For Persons with Dementia Symposium Article </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>- Dementia is changes in connections between nerve cells in the brain causing&nbsp; death of many cells. <br><br>- <strong>Japanese diet; </strong>useful for slowing or maintaining cognitive function. Followed 69 patients for 30 months. Ate&nbsp; vegetables, and fish, some fruit and very little sugar, and used Mini-Mental State Examination. Noticeable difference at 12th months and more apparent at the 30th month. Intervention group preserved or even showed 2 points higher scores of MMSE than the scores measured at baseline. <br><br>- <strong>Risk factors of Dementia:</strong> obesity, high blood pressure, hypercholesterolemia, diabetes, and fat. <br><br>- <strong>Elizabeth Head,</strong> Aged beagles ate a diet of vitamins E, C, fruits, vegetables and two mitochondrial co-factors and/or behavioral enrichment.&nbsp; Both treatments improved memory and maintained learning ability. Combination of both treatments was more efficacious than either treatment alone. Antioxidant diet reduced amyloid-β plaques in the brain.&nbsp;<br><br>- Overall good article with a collection of studies, interesting to see it presented this way.</div>]]></description>

I would like to work virtually with clients to improve lifestyle satisfaction and health.&nbsp;<br><br>- Main focus : Stress/anxiety reduction, quality of life, nutrition, work life-balance, and fulfillment are all topics that I would like to coach around.&nbsp;<br><br>- Where I get hired will determine my focus.&nbsp;<br><br>- I want to have a wide range of knowledge to coach many different people and increase my value.<br><br>- When I begin my own practice, I will focus mainly around women and anxiety reduction to improve self image. I will also focus on coaching Buisness executives create a work life balance that increases their life satisfaction and fulfillment.&nbsp;<br><br><br></div>]]></description>
