Purpose of the Project: For students to reinforce topics such as the four operations in the 4th grade math curriculum, our coins, environment-space calculation and column chart with a fun restaurant building simulation.

I have already prepared and implemented a social responsibility project called “Connecting Generations: Young Hands for Healthy and Happy Lives” with my students. We created educational materials and carried out activities with elderly people, but unfortunately I couldn’t find an eTwinning partner in time to turn it into an eTwinning project.

I would still be very happy to collaborate if any teacher is interested in developing this project together for the 2026–2027 school year. Most of the educational materials are already prepared, and I would love to share and improve them with project partners.

Students will explore their own cities, looking for streets, squares, monuments, memorial plaques, or other places connected with World War II. They will document them with photos and short descriptions.

Together, both classes will create a bilingual digital map of these places of memory. The final product will be a single shared map, allowing students to compare how the two cities remember the same historical period and reflect on similarities and differences in local commemorative choices.

The project idea is still flexible and can be adapted together with the partner school.

Should AI be used to personalize learning in European schools?

Working in international teams, they will:

#Explore the situation in their country (school practices, public opinion, regulations).

#Identify stakeholders (students, teachers, parents, policymakers, AI companies...) and understand their different perspectives.

#Share and compare findings with partner schools.

#Debate the controversy through online discussions, role plays or a mock trial.

The project develops critical thinking, media literacy, digital citizenship, communication skills and European cooperation while encouraging students to understand that complex issues rarely have simple answers.

Le collège Hans Arp porte le nom d'un artiste franco-allemand strasbourgeois. Notre quartier tire son nom de l'Ill, rivière qui rejoint le Rhin quelques kilomètres plus loin - Unser Fluss fließt in den Rhein. Nos élèves vivent dans un espace transfrontalier concret : le Rhin, la passerelle des Deux Rives et Kehl sont à portée de tram.

Le projet
Nous souhaitons développer un projet annuel articulé autour des six axes du programme d'allemand de 5e.

Chaque classe construit progressivement un rallye interactif présentant son territoire à travers les yeux de ses jeunes habitants. Les élèves découvrent ainsi comment d'autres jeunes vivent le long du Rhin, comparent leurs espaces de vie et réfléchissent ensemble aux questions de mobilité, d'environnement et de citoyenneté européenne.

Côté français, nos élèves construisent un rallye en allemand consacré à l'espace transfrontalier Strasbourg (Elsau) - Kehl : leur territoire vécu, là où l'Ill devient le Rhin et où la passerelle des Deux Rives incarne littéralement l'idée de « ein Fluss, zwei Ufer ».

Le rallye combine :

• une version interactive en ligne (Genially ou uMap)

• des supports téléchargeables (feuille de route, missions, cartes) permettant à d'autres jeunes visiteurs de réaliser le parcours après le projet. 

L'approche est pleinement actionnelle : le rallye est réellement utilisé par ses destinataires, d'abord par la classe partenaire, puis par d'autres classes ou visiteurs dans une logique de réutilisation ouverte.

We are planning to use school gardens as learning spaces for sustainability, environmental education and geography. We would be happy to collaborate with partner schools across Europe.

Our School Garden

Our school garden includes fruit and vegetable beds, a pond with a water supply and beehives. Students could regularly share photos, short videos and observations of seasonal changes, plant growth, biodiversity and gardening activities.

Comparing Places and Environmental Conditions

We would also like to explore the possibility of collecting weather data at each school and comparing how climate, location and other local conditions influence the gardens and related sustainability decisions.

Through this exchange, students could learn how sustainability, climate and school gardening are approached in different European regions. Comparing different places could help them understand regional differences, spatial connections and the relationship between environmental conditions and human action.

Possible Joint Outcomes

Possible outcomes could include a shared digital garden diary, comparative presentations, maps or visualisations of the participating locations, and a collection of ideas for creating more sustainable school grounds.

The project idea is flexible and can be developed together according to the interests, gardens and possibilities of the participating schools.

Every day, our students are surrounded by information on social media, websites and AI-generated content. Learning how to distinguish reliable information from misinformation has become an essential skill for responsible European citizens. Truth seekers is an eTwinning project for secondary school students that combines English language learning, media literacy, critical thinking and digital citizenship through meaningful international collaboration.

The project is designed to be simple, practical & easy to integrate into the English as a Foreign Language curriculum, making it suitable for teachers who want to work on real-life communication while developing key competences.

Possible Project Roadmap

Phase 1 - Fake News Creators

Partner schools create one or more fake news stories related to topics of interest for teenagers.

Phase 2 - Fact or Fake?

Students from partner schools investigate the stories, decide whether they are true or false, and explain the clues that led them to their conclusions.

Phase 3 - Becoming Fact-Checkers

Students explore reliable fact-checking techniques & digital verification tools, sharing their discoveries with the other schools.

Phase 4 - Truth in Action

Students collaborate to create short videos, podcasts, posters or infographics promoting responsible information sharing & explaining how to recognise misinformation.

Phase 5 - European Debate

Partner Schools organise online message meetings where students discuss topics such as Artificial Intelligence, social media, influencers, misinformation & the importance of critical thinking.

Phase 6 - Final Collaborative Product

Together, all partner schools create a European Truth Guide, including practical tips, fast-checking strategies, examples of misinformation & recommendations to help young people become responsible digital citizens.

Project idea

Together, we will create one international story.

The first school starts the story with a short page (4–6 simple sentences) and a drawing made by the students.

Then, each partner school:

adds one illustration created by the children.

Each school creates only one page, so the workload is small and suitable for young learners.

We're a "Liceo Classico" (upper secondary school) in Rome, specialising in classical studies — Latin, Ancient Greek, and the humanities more broadly, alongside modern languages and art history. Working right at the source of one of Europe's most famous foundation myths, we thought: why not turn that into a project?

Every city tells a story about how it was born. This project invites students (age 14-15) to explore the foundation legend of their own city or region — and the monument, artwork or symbol that legend has generated over time — and compare it with the stories of partner schools across Europe.

Our starting point is naturally the Roman tradition (Romulus and Remus, Aeneas), studied through original Latin and Greek sources — but the project is really about a universal human need: every community tells itself a story about its own origins. We're looking for partners who'd like to bring their own city's founding legend into the mix (any country, any legend — the more different from Rome's, the more interesting the comparison!).

The idea is to exchange (in English or French) about deep space, organize animations and an exchange composed with 10-15 students between 15 and 17 years old, during this scholar year.

Our pupils (aged 12-13, French secondary school, European Languages and Cultures programme) will read Flat Stanley by Jeff Brown and create their own flat paper characters. Each Stanley will then travel by post to a partner school in Europe.

Partners host a Flat Stanley for about three weeks, take him around their school and town, photograph his adventures, and answer a short question card with their pupils. Then they send him onwards — and send us their own Flat Stanley in return, so we can do the same for them.

Together we build a shared TwinSpace: a travel diary, a photo gallery, country files and a multilingual word bank. Pupils discover how European teenagers really live — school timetables, lunches, snacks, traditions — and practise authentic English at A1-A2 level with a real audience and a real purpose.

Through the E-Twinning platform, we can exchange our discoveries and learn more about each other (photos, videos, videoconference...). 

My school is not completely bilingual : pupils learn English but they do not have the skills to hold a conversation yet. However, our exchanges can still be in English and I'm more than open to learn some words from your country as well.

Concerning the organization, I was thinking about something like that :

-December : Getting around the city (+ Christmas traditions)

Hello from Poland! I am launching a new international project called Give Me Wings, running from October to June, and I am currently looking for a co‑founder to help coordinate it.

This creative, nature‑based project supports pupils aged 9–13 in exploring birds, wellbeing and English through hands‑on, outdoor and digital activities. Students will learn English in meaningful contexts, develop emotional resilience, practise mindful observation, and create both artistic and STEAM‑based products.

From October to June, students will:

• observe birds and create simple nature reports

• design 3D birdhouses in Tinkercad

• build Bird Vocabulary Walls

• make “Wings of Strength” wellbeing maps

• create posters and digital art

• build simple bird feeders and take part in bird‑feeding activities

• collaborate internationally through TwinSpace

• contribute to a joint final product shared by all partner schools

Final international product:

All partner schools will co‑create a joint StoryJumper book “Wings Around the World”, presenting birds from each country, 3D birdhouses, nature photos and pupils’ wellbeing reflections.

Projemizin temel amacı; özel gereksinimli (hafif düzey zihinsel yetersizlik, otizm spektrum bozukluğu vb.) öğrencilerimizin çevre bilincini ritim, müzik ve dokunsal sanatla bütünleştirmektir.

Süreç içerisinde öğrencilerimiz; evsel ve okul atıklarını (plastik şişeler, kutular, kapaklar) bizzat dönüştürerek marakas, davul, ksilofon ve dokunsal vurmalı/telli enstrümanlar tasarlayacaklardır.
