My grandma has always been someone who cares for people around her very much. She provides the best that she can for anyone around her. I remember how during my younger days she would prepare my favourite food and buy me toys to play with. She also encouraged me to do well in school so that I can make my mom proud. I love and appreciate my grandma very much<3

I remembered her as someone who was very naggy. Whatever I did, she always had comments to make. I just felt annoyed most of the times. But, she was always there for me whenever I needed someone.

She was like my other parent who took care of me when my parents were working. My grandma would buy me anything I wanted, and I felt so loved and cared.

Looking back, I really missed those times when she nagged at me. She really gave me all the attention and love. I really love and miss her <3 I hope she is proud of who I have turn out to be as of today.

She was there by my side ever since I entered this world. Words can't even describe how grateful and thankful I am towards her. She has always been my inspiration and role model. She pampered me so much since young and I'm so glad to be showered with so much love! I am really thankful for all the words she said to me and all the encouragement that she gave to me. 爱你哦❤

My grandmother had many obstacle in her life, of which would be being diagnosed with dementia. Dispite her tattered past, i still look up to her. Her beliefs and stance of education and gender equality has always amused me. She was a strong woman and she went against all stereotypes. I strive to make her proud in the future by taking on her dreams of persueing higher education.

Atok is one of the strongest men I know. One with the softest heart as well :') He is 93 and has lived almost 7 decades of his life with my grandma who often confuse him for her father. But his patience and love for her is something I will always admire. I may have been too young to remember the good adventures with atok, but I'm glad he's still here for me to joke around with and ask for blessings. 💖

When I was younger, my grandpa lived with my family and me.
I always enjoyed his presence since he was my guardian angel, defending me from my wrongdoings and the person who scolded my cousins for picking on me and cooked some of the best dishes I've had in my life. I will never forget him sneaking me a sugar biscuit from his tin that he kept in his room, every night before I went to bed and scolding me in the mornings when I would make a fuss before going to school.

He has taught me how to stand up for myself, to be strong and courageous and for that, he will forever and always have a special place in my heart.

I'll always see my Grandmother as a wise, witty and strong-willed person. She's caring to her grandkids, while also being stern and no-nonsense to us. She'll always have something wise to say, and is also ready to keep us in line whenever we do the usual silly things kids used to (and still) do. She's always there for her family, and makes sure we still find the time to meet.

I want to thank them for being part of my life at least able to spend time with both of my maternal grandparents as compared to my paternal ones as they passed on after I turned 1 year old.

To my maternal grandparents always thanks for all the memories, stories and also what I learned a thing a two but is just giving me the time to visit them every weekend is best already :)

I would want to thank them and let them know that I had the best memories in life thanks to them. Also to let them know that they provided me with more than I could ask for, that I am grateful for it and that I feel lucky to have been able to spend time with them. I just wish to be able to show them how I want to try hard in life thanks to them.

thank you for everything you've done for the family and business for the past 93 years. please take time to rest now and focus on yourself. eat more, rest more, watch more HK dramas.

thank you for taking care of and spoiling me when dad was overseas. you taught me many good values that I would have never had if it wasn't for you.

you're the biggest inspiration & motivation for me as a woman, & one day I aspire to be as independent and strong as you are.

To both side of my grandparents,
thank you for taking care of me and my sister and always thinking of us and making sure we were never hungry. I have learnt a lot and created fond memories with yall :) Without yall, life would have been boring with just my parents! Thank you Nai Nai and Ye Ye for playing such a big role in my childhood. Without the both of you, I wouldn't have as many fond memories to look back to. From lugging a huge 6-year potato sack around England, pulling me out of school early to bring me to a Hi-5 concert, and bringing me to Pasir Ris park every weekend, I cannot be more grateful for all the experiences given to me. Thank you for always being there for me:,)

my grandparents were an amazing bunch who were always there for me and my siblings. i’ve spent a big part of my childhood at their house! when i was in young, they would send me off to school as well so mornings with them were hectic at times as we were all rushing to get ready.

i would always spend holidays at their place, which they would always stock up our favourites whenever we came over. we would have trips to the markets, or just walking around the neighbourhood and they would always be happy to buy whatever caught me and my siblings eyes when we were young. my grandparents are great cooks! i love the dishes they prepare, such as stir fried spinach, some meat stew dish or french toast (which my grandpa is awesome at making it!) and sometimes, they would always follow us along for overseas trips which was an experience i would never forget and dearly miss.

a regret that i may have was that i couldn’t spend more time with them and actually treasure the time i spent with them when i was there at the moment. i only came about to treasure and miss the time when i could no longer have it. i regret not being able to say thank you to them and to say i love you before it was too late too. i really miss them a lot.

my grandparents were an awesome bunch who i love dearly. they would never complain to us when they were in pain and would always put us first. thank you 💗
