         <description><![CDATA[<div>During bowling, the skills needed will be requesting the correct size shoe, changing shoes, identifying the right alley, selecting the correct ball and weight, localizing name on the screen, taking turns while playing the game, and turning in bowling shoes when finished. The main task for the student is to bowl a ball in a game.  At first this will be without assistance.  Following will be the three step approach and increased to the level of using proper form and hitting at least three pins in 8 out of 10 tries.<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Within fishing, the most important part is casting, so for individuals the task will be to cast the line with bait.  Student should be able to bait their own hook (verbal/physical prompting needed).  They should work up to releasing the reel, be able to cast their line behind the shoulder, follow through, and line and bait at least 15 feet 8 out of 10 times, to be efficient.<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The basic rock climbing task is to climb a 30 foot rock wall with harness and helmet.  Individuals should first be comfortable with putting on a harness and helmet with assistance.  From this point they should go through the levels and in the end be able to use both hands and feet to climb 20-30 feet, and properly execute the backward fall.  This task has many modifications and adaptations in place for individuals.<br><br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>To complete this task, students should be able to skate or in-line skate in various directions while maintaining control.  Students starts at the first level of skating forward, close to wall or railing, without falling for 5 minutes.  They should extend to the last level of skating forward and changing backward while moving, skating in a straight line and circle, and be able to stop on command without losing balance 4 out of 5 times. <br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Since paddle boarding is a water activity, the equipment, rules, environment, and instruction are important to complete this task.  Students should be able to enter paddle board, paddle using two different strokes, and control the direction they are moving in calm waters.  The end goal is to maintain balance from the standing position and turn independently.  The environment is something you can't control, so to make sure there is calm water, no sun in eyes, and decreased distractions, is very important to keep in consideration.<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>With dancing, individuals have should be able to perform a dance routine that includes Zumba moves and some components that go along would be keeping a beat and sequence steps.  The goal is to be able to perform a routine that incorporates 4-5 aerobic moves, 3-4 original moves, and 4-5 Zumba moves.  Modifications and adaptions for dance include more physical things such as visual aids, music, and costume.  Understanding the music is important.<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Unlike most of the other recreational activities, spike ball is more of a competitive/fun game that can be played.  Individuals will want to complete the task of spiking the ball during the game.  There are specific rules to this game, so giving clear instruction will be helpful.  Students will want to work to the level of consistently spiking the ball into the net from 9 feet away at the proper time during the game.  This will require skill, cooperation, and completing a complex task.<br><br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The task of line dancing is for the student to perform the electric slide line dance.  To start simple, students can start with no music, moving in one direction, and have demonstrations and verbal cues being presented.  Through the continuation of the levels, students will want to be able to lead the electric slide with music and move in all four directions for an entire song.  For this to happen, equipment such as floor tape will be a good tool to use!<br><br></div>]]></description>
