If we come to the summary of the book, we have 4 main charachters who are Frank and Joe Hardy (two siblings), Chet Morton (their friend) and Frank and Joe’s detective father Frank. The book starta with the park the three of them waiting at the train station for Frank and Joe’s father to come from Dortmund investigating a case. But their father does not come at the time and they think he may have passed the train and get the next coming one. Then Chet wants to buy a telescope and the go to buy it then the shopkeeper tells them that one of Chet’s $20 is counterfeit and then they learn that police officers have warned all the locals about a counterfeit ring. All these happening things were related to Frank’s investigation in Dortmund but they did not know it first. Chet wanted to observe and get a detailed look at the money and the counterfeit bill so they asker the shopkeeper whether they can take it with them to investigate and he agreed on. Then they get a strange, unknown note. On it writes that if Frank does not stop investigating his case they’ll be in a big trouble but the one who wrote the note did not specify which Frank’s case he or she was talking about so the Hardy Family did not care it. While they were examining the bill and the money they found and another clue and followed the clues until they have solved the case. The ending was just like i expected but it was still heart-stopping to read it. I did not write the end detailed here because i would like all of you to read this book and have fun :).
