Its name is from 'morph' (<strong>meaning</strong> form), and 'meta' (<strong>meaning</strong>change). The original <strong>rock</strong> gets heated (temperatures greater than 150 to 200 °C) and pressured (1500 bars). This causes profound physical and/or chemical change.</div>]]></description>
