         <description><![CDATA[<ul><li>-Model 1832 foot artillery sword | a 25-inch (64 cm) short-sword with a straight, double-edged blade and brass-mounted leather scabbard.</li><li>-Model 1840 the M1840 has a ridge around its quillon, a leather grip wrapped in wire and a flat, slotted throat. It is 44in long with a 35in blade[1] and weighs roughly 2.5 lbs.</li><li>-Model 1840 Light Artillery Saber  about 42 inches in length with a curved, single-edged blade and iron scabbard.</li><li>-Model 1840 Army Non-commissioned Officers' Sword | Issued to infantry sergeants. The Marines had their own version.</li></ul>]]></description>

The Bessemer steel process invented in the 1850s made a lighter stronger pistol possible.</li></ul><div><br></div><ul><li>-Colt M1861 Navy | Updated version of the Colt .36 caliber 1851 Navy with lines similar to the Colt 1860 Army</li></ul><div><br></div><ul><li>-Colt 1851 Navy Revolver a cap and ball revolver that was designed by Samuel Colt between 1847 and 1850. Colt first called this Revolver the <strong>Ranger</strong> model; but the designation Navy quickly took over.</li></ul>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<ul><li>Springfield Model 1861 a rifled musket shoulder-arm used by the United States Army and Marine Corps during the American Civil War.</li><li>Springfield Model 1863 a .58 caliber rifled musket manufactured by the Springfield Armory between 1863 and 1865.</li><li>The Model 1863 was only a minor improvement over the Springfield Model 1861. </li><li>Fayetteville rifle- banded rifled musket of rifle length produced at the Confederate States Arsenal in Fayetteville, North Carolina.</li><li>Richmond Rifle- Percussion cap muzzle loaded single shot, .58 caliber rifled musket.</li></ul>]]></description>
