The items I would bring would be items to help with basic needs such as cloths, money, etc. Bringing a phone would be necessary for emergency communication as that would be vital for if I got lost and couldn't find my way. I would leave behind some sentimental things that I don't need like some pictures and other things. In today's society the government seems to still live up to that expectation. Society is full of wrong things in which one of those is the fact that they really don't care about you but care about what you follow. Society impacts an individual by making them follow what is there norm. You have to choose whether or not your going to follow society or disband and do your own things. However doing your own things seems to be the biggest issue present in our modern day society. If you do something that is different from what regular people do then you will be called out on it. Some people are made fun of for not following there rules and basic needs which further shows you how they don't care about you as a person but what you follow instead. Following society can be very confusing and take a lot out of you however following the direction of what you want to do will lessen the load. If I were to work on my own dreams of flying an airplanes and becoming an aeronautical engineer then I would have to work my own way to conquer those dreams. Many people follow their own drummer and If I heard a drummer then I would be following that way which would be my own way. Some people like my sister follow different drummers and she has different preferences like liking a different sport or being into different careers. Emerson's quote explains about how we are just spectators to nature. When we are just blankly watching nature we do not interfere because we are only watching. I've been wrestling since I was 4 and there were some moments were I could of chosen to quit and change that to another sport however I kept with it. Because I kept with it it allowed me to partly be the person I am today. It also led me to acquire many goals which I could of not originally been able to do.
