That they were 4,000 people enslaved at  1671 and 1834, there were more than 4,000 enslaved people in New France and the Province of Quebec. Two thirds of enslaved people were Aboriginal, while the remainder were of African.

This picture has a large impact because the way they are just treating them is very inhumane, because you would often see this kind of transportation with livestock.
