When I mentor, I see myself as a guide. Students come from university filled with ideas waiting to put into practice and I am there to enable and help them set their path to achievement. However, sometimes they are so overwhelmed by the reality of the school and being in front of a large group of individual, unique children with specific needs that their skills for observation and judgement contributed immensely into being confident to have the initiative to get involved from the start and not just being an observant but a participant in a child's learning journey. </p>]]></description>
