When the buildings wall fell down and Mahmoud's family almost died and when josef got caught in the train by hitler youth.

Mahmoud because he cares for his siblings, and his personality.

She is full of her self and has a bit of a hero complex trying to save everyone which ends up messing things up.

What character would u give advice to and why?

Isabelle because we want to tell her to not leave her old grandpa during a riot.

I said my favorite character was Micheal because he is the hes a spy and he tells the hole story.

1. How did the author keep you interested or surprised throughout the story?

   • Mahmoud: There was constant events going on like Brandon making his way through the dying building and how he manuvered out of death.

   • Ali Skeiki: The author kept me interested when the American and Afghanistan soldiers busted into Reshmina's house and inspected it.

     
     

     2: Who was your favorite character and why?

   • Mahmoud: My favorite character was Brandon because he showed courage throughout the story by helping whoever was in danger.

   • Ali Skeiki: My favorite character was Brandon because he was saved many people when the elevator was tilting.

     
     

     3: Which character did you relate to or empathize with the most and why?

   • Mahmoud: Reshmina, because she showed sympathy to the dying soldier in chapter 8. She said to herself that she must take revenge but when someone asks for help she must help no matter what.

   • Ali Skeiki: The character I related to was Brandon because he and his dad were one team.

Did the book have any twists or surprises?

-Michel kept punching fritz in the face/back of his head, as hard as he could.

:the made found a flap on the floor which made him think that uncle mosey was with him.

• Ali Skeiki: I liked the scene when Reshmina and Pasoon were climbing the cliff while the war between Americans and Talibans was commencing.

• Mahmoud M. Mourad: I liked the scene when Brandon had saved everyone in that elevator.

2. How do you think the story will end? Why do you think that?

   • Ali Skeiki: I think the story will end with Reshmina and Pasoon being reunited and safe. And I also think think Brandon will be reunited with his dad at the end of story.

   • Mahmoud M. Mourad: I think the story will end with Brandon getting out of the building (probably without some of his friends) and finally flying home and relaxing.

     3. Did this book remind you of any other books you've read?

        • Ali Skeiki: No not really this book was different from most other books I read. Its more complex.

        • Mahmoud M. Mourad: Yes I do but it's not a book its a movie, its called 2012 where disaster is happening all over the world.

Though we haven’t finished the book from what we know we wish hana was back and Josef’s dad would be less broken

Yes it would make an amazing movie or video game with a great storyline.

2. what was the most intense part of the book?

_ The last scene when the science team where trying to set off the bomb but Michael was just trying to get Mr. Goldsmit out of dange cause michael needed the atmocic bomb
