I find it so fascinating how distance learning has become very popular over the years. It is very convenient for working students that are not able to attend classes. Higher education enrollments are declining, but online degree programs have shown that is the key to the future of higher education (Kroeger, 2016). A greater number of students are enrolling in online graduate programs to advance on their careers, while they continue to earn an income by working. Even though many schools have not adapted to the online format as for now, online programs keep improving, and traditional course formats are being delivered into an online format. Over the next 10 years, no longer will classes involve only lectures, but instructors will plan online lessons around “storytelling, exploration, and real-life experiences, using modern devices, like tablets and smartphones (Kroeger, 2016). Do you think online programs will become more expensive than traditional classes?
