If she didn’t do what she did, I think the Americans would have lost the battle because of the soldiers dying of heatstroke. She also showed bravery by using the cannon that her husband used before he got shot. Even though they were supposed to retreat, and that she could’ve retreated with them, but didn’t. Again, she could’ve gotten shot, or worse. If she didn’t use the cannon, the British might have gotten to the retreating American army. These are some of the courageous things Molly Pitcher has done. :)

Another thing Molly did was save a mans life by lifting him of the ground and putting in a safe spot, that was really brave of her because she didn’t care about herself and it must have been really hard to pick the man up.
