On this day the inhabitants of Zimbabwe celebrate the liberation from the colonial rule of the British South African Company.

The indigenous people of the area underwent extreme discrimination, land dispossession, and political marginalization.

However, in the face of adversity, the people of Zimbabwe came together and united in their quest for liberation. The efforts were not in vain as on April 18, 1980, Zimbabwe gained independence, marking the end of colonial rule and the beginning of a new chapter in its history. Zimbabweans fled to the street celebrating their hard-fought victory and the hope of a brighter future for generations to come.

This day begins with a large parade in Independence Square in the capital city of Accra, where thousands gather to watch schoolchildren and security personnel march. Following the parade, Ghanaians head to the beach for massive parties with music, dancing, and games.

Several key figures contributed to the liberation of Mexico from Spanish colonial rule such as:

Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla: Known as the father of Mexican independence, Hidalgo was a Catholic priest who initiated the Mexican War of Independence on September 16, 1810, with his "Grito de Dolores" (Cry of Dolores) speech, calling for rebellion against Spanish rule.

Nowadays the government organises events that seek to recognise the contributions of Australians to the nation, while also encouraging reflection on past wrongs, especially towards Indigenous Australians. Moreover, it celebrates freedom, diversity and some significant achievements of the Australian society, both in the present and in the past.

General Charles de Gaulle led a joyous liberation march down the Champs d’Elysees.

Nowadays there is still daily newspaper named after this event founded by Jean-Paul Sartre.

Jean Moulin was a french hero under resistance, in charge of unifying the resistance movements against the german occupation in France.

General Leclerc was the one responsible by the troops entering Paris by Route d’Orleans

In 28 November the albanese people celebrate Albanian Declaration of Independence.

In this day in 1912, Albania became freedom from Ottoman Empire and raise their flag in VlorIna.

The albanese fight to independence remonts to 15 th century, when Ottomans took control over the area. In this day Skanderbeg and your cavallery fights against the Ottoman military, but he fails. And a lot of people who supports the Albania freedom run away to Italy.
