The last time we visited was when I was still in elementary school, so going back to this place with family brought back a lot of fond memories. We got a lot of good exercise climbing up and down the stairs going down to the falls. Dance and music have always been the activities I turned to whenever I had a stressful, sad, or generally tiring day. This school year, I got to join my first contemporary dance class while still continuing to do ballet. I love how I don’t really to speak much during classes, and expressing myself simply comes from the movements and shapes I create with my body. I also really love my dance instructors who have given me so much motivation beyond classes.

This ended up with me having a difficult time adjusting to class schedules once again, especially for morning check-ins. These movie nights have been a breath of fresh air from all the stress from school and whatnot, so the sudden change in routine was life-depleting.
