         <description><![CDATA[<p>Key concepts:</p><p>Need to acquire knowledge about all student's backgrounds.  Meaning teachers need to know more about everyone's cultures to be more effective. </p><p><br/></p><p>Application:  </p><p>Cultural potluck- Students begin by writing about their culture and their favorite dishes.  Then students will tell us about the history behind that particular food (why they eat it during certain holidays for example) Then students bring a dish they feel represents </p><p>their culture. </p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p>]]></description>
