When you start reading the book, you will never want to put the book down and it's really interesting. There is 10 books in the series and the Tenth Book that just came out is called: Diary Of A Wimpy Kid Old School (It's the black book). Did you know that Jeff Kinney made a game called: Poptropica in 2006. Rain Shadow is about a girl named Bethany and she has some difficulties, there family goes through a terrible tragedy and starts to fall apart. The author made me visualize what was happening and feel her pain. But through the the book Bethany learns to do things without her difficulties getting in the way. This book is amazing and has a perfect representation of the  mystery story arc that we made when Angela Misri came. The plot twists are finominal and the personalities are quite different, which make the story even better. I have always had an image of what the perfect story would be with all the different genres colliding together, it makes it the perfect book for me and I strongly recommend it for people who are interested in spooky, mysterious, fantasy books. But, when Red Wolf is forcefully,  taken away to a residential school, and the friends were split apart, Red Wolf's free, childish spirit is broken , and in it's place, is a broken, cold George. He grows to see Aboriginals as drunken savages, and resents his parents for letting him go to a Residential school. I think For this year I am going to go with The Swallow, a ghost story. It was amazing because almost every chapter ended with your heart racing and a cliffhanger, yet each one is pretty short, 4 pages at most. It is the story of two girls in two houses side by side in front of a cemetery, one girl sees ghosts and the other WANTS to see one. This story tells a story that is chilling. I like this book because it is really creepy, yet it explores opinions and moods very well. I recommend this to EVERYONE.
