There once was a very poor man who worked as a mechanic. One day he got to work on Elon Musk’s new tesla model. As a reward, Elon Musk gave him a brand new tesla first-gen Tesla. The poor man was so excited! He decided to sell the Tesla and in its stead bought a cheaper car and started a business. This business was fairly popular and he was able to sell this very promisaning business to a large corporation for a hefty price. However the now (rich) poor man got ahead of himself and spent too much money on things such as cars, stocks, and some other poor business ventures. The poor man despite being given such a grand opportunity was still poor, not because he didn’t have a choice but instead because of the choices he made. The poor man realized this but he realized this too late and so it was that he lived the rest of his life as a poor man.

This shows both traditional and modern themes in the idea that the poor man stays poor and should know his place which is very traditional however there is also the idea that the man is only poor because of his choices which is a fairly modern theme. This fairy tale teaches kids that people should take advantage of opportunities in their life but also that they shouldn’t get ahead of themselvesand to think before making important decisions.

Willow and Salem went walking down the road looking for a ride. They wanted to go to their favorite store ever, Target. The two girls wanted to buy some cookies, yet they didn’t have a car to get there, so they decided to walk. After about 10 minutes of walking Willow spoke up and said “I’m tired of walking, let's try and see if someone on the road will give us a ride”. Salem, being equally as tired as her friend, agreed and they began trying to catch a ride.

After about 2 minutes of waiting a nice man pulled over and asked where they were going. The two girls told him they wanted to go to Target but it is too far to walk and wanted to see if someone would take them there. The man, being as kind as he was, smiled and said that he was actually on the way to Target and that he would be more than happy to take them with him! Being absolutely ecstatic Willow and Salem got into the man's truck with no second thought.

Salem was looking at the window so excited to get to their destination, but she quickly realized that the man took a wrong turn. She quickly spoke up and told him “ Hey the turn to get to Target was back there”. The man reassured her and said that he knew a faster way to get to the store. However, about 20 minutes passed and both girls realized they were far far far away from their intended destination.

3 hours later they pulled up at a random house in the middle of the woods and neither of them were ever seen or heard from again.

I wrote my Fairy Tale based on the new thing of serial killers and sex trafficking, but overall just not trusting strangers. Even with the older idea of having to hitchhike to get where you want to go, the common idea of sex trafficking and exploitation is still very real and very serious today with our time in the media. However, the traditional fairy tale theme I selected was the two helpless children most notably as seen in Hansel and Gretal.

Deep in the Juniper forests, there was a clearing with a group of small shacks. In these shacks lived a people who would defend their territory with their blood, never letting it fall to the enemy in even the bleakest circumstances. The children were raised to always respect two main things. Their fellow people, and anyone else that needed help, no matter who they were. One crisp fall afternoon, two brothers left their home to visit the market. This was a run-of-the-mill supply run for them, purchase food for the family, check to see if any healthy livestock had arrived, sharpen their weaponry, the usual. They left the clearing and ventured through the woods towards town when they came across a beggar. The beggar asked them for some money, which they had to spare. They made a trade, a strip of fine cloth for the money. The boys agreed and continued on their way. After another short walk, they encountered a shepherd, who was weak and could not make his own cloth to sell. He asked the boys for their strip of cloth, in exchange for a healthy lamb. They happily agreed and continued on their way. Nearing the village, they encountered a guard, who refused to let them in unless they handed over the lamb. The boys offered a trade, but the guard was staunch in his words and declined. The boys talked, and after a while, they agreed to hand over the lamb. Arriving at the town center, they went into a blacksmith shop and deposited their weapons for repairs. The blacksmith saw what had happened near the entrance, and gave the boys a free new spear. The boys got their supplies and began the journey back to the clearing. As they were passing back through the gate, the guard approached them again and said he only took the lamb because his spear had broken. The boys made a trade and got their lamb back. They continued onward and found the shepherd walking past them toward the village. He said an alchemist had found him, and claimed the cloth was magical, able to heal his weakness. Overjoyed, the shepherd gave them as much money as the lamb was worth, and continued toward the village. The boys arrived back at the beggar, and out of the kindness of their hearts,

gave him the lamb, which he could sell to get his life back together. The boys made it back to the clearing and found their parents, who were proud of them for their generosity. They claimed that while the boys were gone, raiders had stolen most of their money. The boys handed over every last penny to their parents, to which they asked how they got all of it. The boys told their story, all the encounters, all the trades, and all the payouts. Their parents were exceptionally proud of them and gave them more goods than they could ever use. The boys asked why, and their parents said to give it all to others that need it more. All through the rest of fall and winter, the family lived in peace.
The overall purpose of this tale is to show that you should always be willing to help others, even if the reward is nothing or seems useless, it can have major changes down the line. Having good social skills can help you out of most situations, and can usually end up with both parties benefitting. Teaching children how to get past situations with words is a life lesson that will stick with them for the rest of their lives.

Chapter 1 Who is the Baby Man?
“You are probably wondering who is the “Baby Man.” is he a monster? An alien? No he is none of those things, he is simply a man who dresses up as a baby. some newcomers would call him a “freak” but again that's not how he is seen by the people in town. The people in town all know his story, and this story I am here to tell.”
Once upon a time, there was a man by the name of Senor P, he was a very slim handsome young fellow, he lived a simple life with a simple job. He was an assassin of the Donquix pirates, a crew who would terrorize villegas and steal from the poor. As an assassin Senor P would kill anyone he was told to, without mercy. And this is only the beginning of this tragic tale.

Chapter 2 a girl named Rouge
One day in the town of Rubeck, Senor P had just finished an assassanation and was on his way home, when it began to rain. Senor P ran and stood under an awning waiting for the rain to stop. Suddenly he heard the sound of a woman's laughter, he turned to see a beautiful young woman with gorgeous red flowing hair and freckles sprinkled all over her cheeks. “I love the rain.” she said with a smile. Senor P was surprised, unsure if she was talking to him. “Don’t you just love the rain?” she said this time looking up at Senor P. “what's so funny, now you are all soaking wet?” Senor P replied. The woman chuckled, “I think it's fun.” she said with a smile. “Huh, I never looked at it that way before.” Senor P said looking down at the woman with a soft smile. “Say.. I don’t think I've seen you around here before. Who are you?” she asked looking up at Senor P. Senor P said with a stutter. “I…I'm senor P, and you are?” the woman smiled “I'm Rouge.”

Chapter 3 The wedding
Senor P continued to see Rouge, for he had fallen in love with her. One day he invited her to the coffee shop, they chatted for a bit about things they liked, then Senor P asked. “What kinds of things do you hate?” Rouge thought for a moment. “Pirates, hate em to death.” Rouge replied with a smile, Senor P froze, till Rouge snapped him out of it. “So what do you do for a living?” she asked with a curious look on her face. “I…I’m a banker” Senor P lied. And after that, Senor P and Rouge continued to see each other and eventually they got married and bought a house, Senor P continued his job as an assassin keeping it a secret from Rouge. And one day, Rouge gave birth to a healthy baby boy. Senor P ran to the hospital as soon as he heard. “Hehe you came!” Said Rouge with a smile. “So..what should we name him?” She asked. “He looks like… a Gabriel” Said Senor P. Rouge smiled “What a wonderful name” Rouge held her newborn rocking him back and forth.

Chapter 4 the incident.
One day Senor P had to leave for work, but he was gone longer than usual, and Rouge was left at home with Gabriel. Gabriel got very sick and Rouge didn't know what to do. “Oh goodness. Where has your father gone.” It began to storm outside, and Gabriel began to cry. Rouge ran to the bank to get Senor P, that's when she found out the sad truth. She stayed at home with Gabriel, till eventually he passed away. Eventually Senor P came home. “Gabriel's dead!?” Senor P asked his heart sinking. “I rushed him to the hospital. But he didn't make it” Rouge replied her eyes flooding with tears, she stood up. “You lied. I Ran to the bank and they told me you were never employed!” She yelled. Rouge looked up at Senor P “Tell me the truth! What do you really do for a living. Where did the money come from!? Say it!” Rouge yelled, but nothing came out of Senor Ps mouth, he couldn't spit out any words. Rouge pushed him aside and ran out the house. “Wait! Rouge its terrible out there!” Senor P grabbed Rouges arm, “Don't Touch me!” Rouge shouted and smacked Senor P in the face, she ran off. Later that night, Senor P got a letter from the hospital, saying Rouge was there and to come quickly.

Chapter 5 the baby man is born
Senor P ran to the hospital. “I’m sorry to report your wife is in critical condition, she was trapped under a landslide during the storm. She's awake but, unresponsive” said the doctor leading Senor P to her room. “A vegetative state?” asked Senor P. “exactly. the trauma has left her with no signs of awareness. And i’m afraid she will never recover.” Said the doctor. Senor P entered her room, Rouge sat there her eyes empty, staring into nothingness. “I’m not entirely sure how much time she has left either.” said the doctor. Senor P stood over her bed and Cried. After that Senor P came to visit Rouge every day, bringing her flowers hoping that one day he would get to see her smile, just one last time. One day he brought their babies bonnet. “Hay Rouge, hehe look at me. You always said Gabriel had my face heheh” Senor P said wearing the baby bonnet. Senor P sighed. “Heh. i should take this off.. I look silly” Senor P began to take off the bonnet till he saw in the corner of his eye Rouge smiling. Senor P was shocked, but happy. after that day he continued to visit Rouge wearing the babies bonnet and even baby clothing, he didn't care what people thought of him. He was just happy to see his wife smile. Even after her death, P continues to wear the infant clothes to this day, showing a deep sign of lingering love for her.

She had tried everything. She tried to be different and look different but nothing ever worked. She often compared herself to her friends for that. Dorothy was very different from Rachel. Dorothy had beautiful blonde hair with the most stunning honey-colored brown eyes. She was skinny but the kind where she didn't look sick but like she kept up with herself. No matter how much or how little she tried people were always attracted to her in many different ways. Dorothy spoke just the right amount of time. Never too much or too little. And when she spoke she knew what she was talking about. Dorothy has had more guys like her in one year than Rachel had ever had. Rachel had dark brown long hair with dark brown eyes. She wasn’t skinny but she wasn’t fat. She never knew how to feel about her body, especially when she would feel good but then see Dorothy. Rachel never attracted many people. She was the kind of pretty that girls noticed and say she was pretty but she never got attention from guys. She had the occasional here and there but it was obvious to everybody that most times she was just being used. However, Rachel never gave them anything for them to use her for so she ended up getting left time and time again. Rachel always talked too much and half the time she didn’t know what she was saying especially when she was talking to guys. Dorothy and Rachel always seemed to be in different places. Especially right now. They both had their problems but they were best friends and they always tried to be there for each other. But Rachel knew that Dorothy would never truly understand how it feels.

Rachel had just gotten out of something that turned out to be nothing. She had been used for 6 months by a guy older than her but once he found out there was nothing to be used because she wouldn’t give anything he left. But he didn’t just leave. He got cruel towards her. Every day Rachel dreaded going to school in fear of him. He truly scared her to her core. She tried to talk to Dorothey about it but she just didn’t understand the extent. It wasn’t her fault. She has always been wanted. At all times in her life. Dorothy had just gotten into a relationship. This wasn’t a normal relationship. It was the most wholesome, loving, and genuine relationship Rachel had ever seen. When Dorothy would talk about it to Rachel it would upset her but she did want to be happy for her best friend. She was truly happy for Dorothy. Dorothy deserved this in every way. But Rachel couldn’t help but feel an absurd amount of envy every time she heard Dorothey talk about him. Rachel felt like a kick to the stomach every time Dorothy talked about this because it just made Rachel feel more and more unloveable. A part of Rachel knew she wouldn’t find true genuine love but she couldn’t help but be a hopeless romantic. Unfortunately, she stayed dreaming but now she had a chance at this type of love.

Rachel was very energetic and talkative but she started to like the opposite of her. She started liking Charlie. Charlie was not talkative at all and very much kept to himself. Rachel knew it was a stretch to get him to notice her. Whenever she talked to Dorothey about this she would just tell her to go for it. But Dorothy didn’t realize that Rachel couldn’t do that. She was no Dorothy. This crush Rachel had was what kept her afloat in her drowning idea of love. But then she realized no one can love her if she doesn’t love herself.

Rachel tried to spend more time working on becoming better. But it was very hard to take years back of hatred towards one's self. She always had in the back of her mind that Dorothey was winning. She didn’t know what it was that she was winning at. This made it harder for Rachel not to hate herself because every time she caught herself being envious of Dorothy she would hate herself for not being happy with her best friend's success. She worked on trying to be loved and love herself. One night she realized. It’s impossible. She gave up. She realized she truly didn’t care what people thought of her. She knew she was a fun person to be around and it was the others missing out. She couldn’t help how other people saw her and she wasn’t gonna kill herself trying to prove that she was lovable. At the time it still hurt and she felt sadness for not being loved. But she chose things that she could love. She focused on one thing field hockey.

Rachel put everything into field hockey. And by everything, truly everything. She spent every day practicing. If she couldn’t love herself or be loved by others she could love and be loved by field hockey.

This story is about not comparing yourself to others and putting your love where its deserved.

Toby Wise - Actions have consequences

Long ago in a home near no other, the land around the house was green like a tree’s leaves, and the house having better maintenance and structure than every other, Inside the house lived a basic family of 3, A husband a wife and a child, this family is a very lucky family having extreme wealth, good healthcare, and anything they could imagine. Eventually the kid was always on his game or asking his parents for something, while the family had no issues with this, the kid eventually started to resort to darker things, like stealing, bullying, and harassing others. The parents eventually found out about this and cut him off of their will, took all of his games away, and started to ignore him more. The kid eventually became pretty depressed and started regretting all of his actions, eventually he starting being nicer to people, and they started to forgive him for his actions, eventually his parents noticed his nicer personality and started to return all of his things, the kid started having a better life with his family because of his actions.

The message of the story is to always realize that your actions have consequences as people nowadays always tend to do things before thinking. The moral of this story is honestly a bigger issue than people tend to think, for example awhile ago (2022) a truck driver decided to not care about how he was driving causing a major crash which resulted in lots of damage and people being hurt or worse. He was sentenced to 100+ years in prision because of state laws requiring that he serve each sentence separately. This just goes to show how even the smallest refusal to think before you act can lead to the worst consequences of someone’s life.

Once upon a time, there was a bear named Adward Tullen. Adward lived in the richest neighborhood with a Lamborghini, He had stacks and stacks of cash. He was THE MAN. Every day Adward would venture to his local honey market and find a new babe. Yesterday was Sherley, the day before was Carroll, and the day before was Bertha. Today his target was Mella Twan. Mella was the hottest chick in town, even though she was a bear. She never rolled with the usual crowd, some may say she was a majestically creature. She always mysteriously read under the willow trees and listened to very underground music. Mella always knew Adward for manipulating other bears, she was always disgusted by his actions. Adward was checking her out one day while she was reading. “Hey, cutie!” he yelled, “Wanna go for a ride in my cool expensive car?” Mella rolled her eyes and started humming the words to “This Girl Is On Fire”. At first, she thought she should just ignore him, but then she had an idea. She would play Adward like a fiddle, so he would feel what he did to others. “Last chance kitten,” he smirked. “Okay bet,” Mella got in his sick ride. He drove her to his infamous dating spot, dollar tree. While going through the isles of dollar tree, Adward was trying to hold Mella’s hand. When they got to the end of the candy isle, he grabbed a ring pop and got down on one knee. “I have loved you ever since I saw you. I love you more than all of my other girls. Will you marry me,” Mella looked at him in disgust and said, “No thanks,” and walked out. Adward started crying as he chased after her. A month later, Adward was still depressed and was looking back at his mistakes, when he thought, “Maybe I shouldnt have played so many babes..” He regretted his past decisions and learned from this.

In our story, the theme is that good triumphs over evil because Mella puts Adward in his place. The “modern” part of our story is that A strong and independent woman puts a man in his place, raither than the man saves her. Also, our story talks about how men and woman should be a certain way. Our story talks about the double standards of dating too, because it is normalized that Adward gets so many girls and no one looks twice.

Ryan - A Blacksmith’s Son

Long ago, on the outer edge of a glittering empire lived the second youngest of 8 sons to the village blacksmith. If it could even be called a village, it was more like an outpost, holding only 100 people and less than 4 times that in buildings. His father and older brothers all were blacksmiths but he was seen as to weak for the trade and soon forgotten about due to his younger brothers natural strength. His name was mink, and he most closely resembled that of a ferret. Seven months after his fourteenth birthday the empire in which his little village resided broke out into war with the neighboring kingdom. Mink had no opinion on this as he knew he would not be enlisted to do anything a boy dreams of doing. Not two months passed before a imperial emissary arrived at his village and left with three of his brothers and half of the village men. What he did leave was a commission for his father and remaining brothers to provide the imperial army with five thousand swords and that the materials would be delivered within a week. True to the emissary's word, wagons upon wagons of materials were deposited right outside his bedroom window for his father to use. Due to the fact that the village woodworker, his employer, left for the war Mink was left without a purpose. Nine days of being useless and on the edge of losing his mind to the endless hammering of metal Mink emerged from his room with a desire to do anything that was presented to him. On his way out of the house Mink was greeted with a large grunt of exertion and only slightly dodged a large hunk of what could only be described as metal obsidian. Next came his father’s enraged complaints about the useless hunk and Mink decided that this was the task that he asked be presented to him. It took what Mink thought was an embarrassingly long time for him to move the hunk to the back workshop that his brothers were no longer using. He prepped the workshop as he’d seen done countless times and set to work. While it wasn’t entirely accurate that Mink was not fit to be a blacksmith he knew that this hunk should not be representing such a challenge. He’d had some experience in the field and now knew why his father had deemed the hunk useless: it wouldn’t melt. He’d already made the flames hotter than usual to compensate for his lack of physical aptitude for hammering but the hunk wasn’t even slightly soft. Mink, not having anywhere to be, kept at the hunk anyway. He put the hunk in the fire and left it there until he could hammer it. To Mink’s astonishment it took almost three days before the hunk could be hammered. Nothing he had ever heard of lasted that long at that temperature. He decided that this fact would only mean that the sword it would become would be unbreakable. So days turned into weeks and weeks turned into just about two months of Mink hammering and melting and hammering the hunk into a deadly blade. The blade had a sheen like none he’d ever seen and waves in the metal that looked like water running off a roof. Mink very happy with his back breaking labor and sleepless nights decided to ‘borrow’ some of his fathers most precious materials to craft the handle. After two months of mind numbing hammering Mink had a sword fit for a god. After Mink finished his sword and left the workshop, unaware of any happenings of the war, it was to Minks great suprise when he learned the Emporers first born son would be leading an army through his village to collect his fathers weapons. It was when he learned this that Mink knew that his prayer for a purpose had been answered and he now knew who’s sword he’d crafted. The day of the Prince’s arrival came and Mink presented him with the sword. The Prince fell in love with his work and sent Mink to the palace with the sword to present to the Emporer himself, who took the blade as his own and made Mink his new palace weapons smith. Mink spent the rest of his days working with rare metals and stones and making weapons the god’s were jealous of. Mink’s ways were passed down for generations and supplied the greatest warriors the empire has ever seen. All it took was drive for Mink to become a legend.

This fairy tale uses positive work ethic and self fulfillment as a road to achievement instead of natural appearance and history. This fairy tale teaches you to work hard and you might just make it and that no physical limitation has to be a mental limitation.

Boy POV: Once upon a time met this girl on SnapChat. Her name is Savannah. She was a very beautiful girl and I wanted to make her mine. I knew she wouldn’t like me for my looks, so I pretended to be somebody else in order to get her attention and for her to like me. We started to develop feelings for each other and she was wanting to meet me in person, I was a little hesitant at first, because I didn’t want her to see what I really look like in person, I am getting scared a little bit, because she wants to see the real me and the real me is not very attractive at all. She wanted to face time as well, but I will make up some excuses saying that I have to go to work and she asks me what I do and I told her that I am a doctor. So she will not have to see what I look like. All of a sudden one day I was walking into Walmart where I work and I saw Savannah in person for the first time. She didn’t know what I looked like so I was in the clear. However next thing I know she’s walking up to the manager, and the manager ended pointing in my direction. I knew in that moment my cover was blown. She now knows I’m fraud and everything was a lie: my looks, my career, and my whole self in general. This whole situation is a lie and a scam, and it everything ended right there. I lost the love of my life. I’ve should’ve never done that in the first place, I should’ve been honest in the beginning. Now I will live in shame for what I did for the rest of my life, and I haven’t talked or cat-fished anyone online since.
Girl POV: Once upon a time I met this guy on Snapchat. His name was Robert, he seemed nice at first. Robert was the ideal perfect man everyone wants: a perfect face with a medical degree. I started developing feelings for him. I got ambitious and wanted to meet him in person. For some reason he was hesitant about it. I started to question if there was something going on. He would make random excuses to not meet up with me, and he wouldn’t face time me. One day I decided to follow his location on the Snap Map. I ended up in Walmart, he must have been shopping. Although I knew he would be working at this time, so why would he be at Walmart? I got curious. I decided to walk up to the manager and ask if they have an employee named Robert. He ended up pointing at this employee to the far right of me. I was hoping it was maybe a different person, but of course it wasn’t. The person who I thought was the love of my life was a fraud. I ended everything right then and there. I was so upset that I fell for his tricks, but soon I would find out that I never needed him anyways. I now live happily ever after with my husband and two kids in Virginia. I’m so grateful for what I have now, but I will never forget about the man that cat-fished me. Although he left me heartbroken he taught me an important lesson, and that is to never trust a man online that doesn’t want to meet you. Well that’s my happily ever after.

Once upon a time, in a faraway kingdom, there was a kind-hearted princess. She had the nicest clothes and Coach Rose dé Essence perfume. Never was she seen not looking-- and smelling-- the best! She was held dear in the hearts of everyone in the kingdom.

On the outskirts lived a witch. This witch smelled like beans all the time. In a society governed by smells, the witch didn’t quite meet their criteria. She was effectively banished from the inside of the kingdom, as everyone was so repulsed by her odor. The townspeople refrained from strolling in the woods at night, in fear of getting a whiff full of beans for themselves.

The witch lived a lonesome life. It made her quite sad, but the distance proved to be quite advantageous when a plague spread through the inside of the kingdom. To all of the royal court’s dismay, the fair princess had begun to cough, sneeze, and shake. It was evident that she’d caught the virus.

The townspeople were freaking out, and trying to find anything to cure her while also trying to take care of themselves. They were angry, trying to find any explanation. So, the angry townspeople did the thing most people do in times of crisis: point fingers. They swiftly went out to the woods and knocked on the door of the witch. The witch was being accused by the mob! They thought she’d done it because she was jealous of being cast out. But that wasn’t the case! The witch wasn’t evil.

She decided, in order to prove her innocence, she would find the proper ingredients for the cure. The three ingredients included lavender, honey, and sage. The witch knew exactly where to find these ingredients, as she routinely foraged the woods!

The witch went off in search of the first ingredient: lavender.

She had to go to a clearing in the middle of the beans forest on a nearby mountain. She walked and walked and walked, then climbed and climbed and climbed, and soon enough she saw a huge patch of lavender at the top! The lavender was bathed in bright sun, and smelled amazing.

Once she bundled the lavender, she went off in search of the next thing: honey.

The town harvested their honey from the famous Honey Waterfall. To the townspeople, this was a long walk, but for the witch who lived on the outskirts of town, it only took 10 minutes! She walked and walked and walked, then climbed and climbed and climbed, and soon enough she saw the honey glistening in the sun! The honey dripped slowly and beautifully from the top.

Once she gathered a jar or two, she went off in search of the last item: sage.

Sage was pretty common in the forest. It could be found growing in bundles under large oak trees. The witch simply walked outside of her cabin, and harvested plenty.

The witch filled her cauldron and made the potion in record time. She wanted to cure the princess out of the kindness in her heart! She made her way to the castle in a perfect disguise, but they could still smell the faint scent of beans that followed her. She presented the cure to the princess. The girl was weary at first, but decided to try it anyway as the sickness was quite awful and she wished to get rid of it.

The cure worked wonders. The princess felt better in mere minutes, and thanked the witch graciously. The princess apologized for assuming the witch was bad because of her smell, and told the witch that she was one of the bravest people in the entire kingdom.

To pay the witch back for her efforts, she appointed her as the kingdom’s doctor. The witch did her job well, and was accepted with open arms back into castle life. Over time, everyone grew to love the smell of beans!

This fairy tale emphasizes the halo effect in which people make rapid decisions based on one singular trait. In this story’s case, it was the witch smelling like beans. We also included the repetition of three’s in several ways. Three ingredients in the potion, and the mention of walking and climbing three times. The plague in the story represents the modern issue of COVID-19 and how people were quick to judge the area of origin.

In a land far far away, there lived two beautiful princesses in a gorgeous castle. One day, the princesses decided to go on a walk in the forest, so they packed their picnic baskets and went on their way. The oldest princess started to feel unsure, and stopped just at the edge of the forest.

	“What’s wrong?” asked her sister.

“Something feels off about this, but I’m not quite sure what it is.”

“Oh, I’m sure it’s nothing. Come along! I’m starving, and can’t wait to see what Mom packed for lunch!” The oldest sighed, and started walking into the forest, following behind her sister, who was skipping along the dirt road. They made their way far into the forest, arriving at the point where the grass turns into dirt and pine straw. Again, the eldest stopped, uneasy.

“What’s wrong now?” inquired the youngest.

“I don’t know, but I feel uneasy. Something is eating away at me, but I can’t explain why,” she responded.

“Well… maybe you forgot something at the castle?”

“Hm… maybe that’s it.” Even after considering the items that she left at the castle, she still felt uncomfortable, like there was something evil lurking. The youngest linked arms with her sister and they kept going through the forest. Eventually, they found a log that had fallen across the dirt path.

“Watch me balance on this log!” cried out the older sister. She placed the picnic basket on the path and ran up to the fallen tree. Stepping onto the log, she held her arms out to balance herself, and slowly started to walk along the bark.

“Wait for me! I want to go next!” the younger sister shouted. The girls started walking along the log in turns, one behind the other.

“Maybe we ought to get going, we don’t want to be out too late,” the older sister said, turning around to face her younger sister, but nobody was behind her.
“Hey, where’d you go?”
The princess started to panic, realizing she was the only one in sight. She jumped off the log and hurried to the picnic basket. It was untouched, sending even more worry through the princess.
“This isn’t funny! Come back!” she cried out, but the only response was the whistling wind in the trees. A shudder ran down her spine.
“I’m going back home! I don’t like your silly little game, and I suggest you come with me before I leave you in the forest!” The princess waited for an answer, but didn’t get one. Heart beating fast, she looks around before she makes her way back to the castle. The wind started to blow harder, and the clouds turned gray. She turned around once more to see if her sister was behind her, and met a large beast.
“Looking for this?” the beast said, holding a piece of cloth that came off of the younger sister's dress.

The moral of this story is to trust your gut, even when there seems to be nothing wrong or unusual. Typical elements of storytelling are in this piece, such as the main characters being two princesses who live in a castle by the woods. There is also a mythical beast, which is usually common in stories that have some sort of royalty. This story teaches children to believe in themselves and trust their gut instincts, and in this case, it was represented by the older princess feeling uneasy about the picnic in the woods.

Stella- Snakes and Rabbits

Once upon a time, many years ago, there lived a rabbit. The rabbit was quiet and underestimated, she was walked over and taken advantage of, she let it happen unintentionally, she didn’t even know it was happening. She didn’t realize that if you were nice to everyone around her and didn’t act like everyone else, she’d be torn up. One day, another animal her age seemed to be nice just like the rabbit, and was being made fun of by snakes. The animal being made fun of was also a snake, although the rabbit didn’t recognize what that meant and decided to be nice to the snake because all the other ones were making fun of her, she got taught a valuable lesson in the end. The snake and rabbit became close friends, they did everything together even though they acted completely different. The rabbit's parents knew that her new friend was trouble, but the rabbit didn’t acknowledge their opinions.

As the years went by, the two animals grew close and were best friends, or that's what the rabbit thought. The snake started getting the rabbit into trouble, taking advantage of her forgiveness and kindness, and constantly bringing her down just to make her feel better about herself. That's how snakes are to rabbits, just like how mean girls pick on the “nice” or “innocent” girls that won’t be mean back. Soon, the snake started manipulating the rabbit and ditched her all the time for “cooler” friends that were snakes just like her. Everything the rabbit would try to do, the snake would sabotage. The rabbit gave the snake four chances to be a better friend, but the snake never changed. Whether it was relationships, or doing something for herself, the snake would always ruin it and make everything about her. She was a narcissistic brat.

Eventually, the rabbit stopped giving the snake chances and realized what a bad friend she was. The snake soon realized she had no real friends that cared about her the way the rabbit did. The rabbit also learned to not let “friends” take advantage of her forgiving and kind nature. The rabbit started standing up for herself so no one would walk over her again. As for the snake, she got into a lot of trouble, hung out with other snakes and had no real friends, and ultimately found herself lost. Now the rabbit can tell the difference between someone that is a snake, and someone who is not a snake, and doesn’t let her guard down because there’s always someone that is going to be mean to someone else just to fuel their self-esteem.

                Sociological Content

The moral of this story is that people need to recognize red flags in their friends and kinda distance themselves from them if they aren’t being a good friend and are constantly trying to get them to change the way they are or get into trouble. The snake is a classic example of a mean girl and the rabbit is just one of those innocent kids who just wanted a friend but was too nice and let others stomp on them. That’s one modern thing, people in society right now are emphasizing the “red flags” and encouraging people to make sure they aren’t with someone that's gonna bring them down whether it's a romantic relationship or just a friendship. A more traditional element is the animals I chose, I feel like snakes were always seen as evil or misleading and animals like rabbits were innocent and more on the nice side. The snake ties into the mean girl thing and the rabbit with the innocent and sweet girl.

Once upon a time there was a land called Andyland. In this land there are the regular people and the magic people. The magic people however only consisted of wizards, any woman caught using magic would face immediate execution. If we zoom into this magical land we find Crystal. Ever since Crystal was a girl she has been obsessed with the OOTF (order of the wizards). She has magic but she can’t use it, it’s not worth the execution to her. Her father is a wizard but he has been missing ever since the big battle. The wizards have been battling the Goblins for many years but can never seem to get the upper hand. One day Crystal was staring at a picture of her father and decided that enough was enough. “I am going to become the first witch in the Order of the Wizards.” She was thinking of ways to get into the order for a few days. Finally she came up with an idea. She grabbed her Fathers old robes and left the house. She cut her hair and put on a fake beard and headed to the castle where the Wizard academy was. She already knew some magic so she casted some spells to make herself appear more like a wizard. She made it to the wizard academy and managed to get herself enrolled. She fooled everyone. Even Mr Collins the grandmaster. Mr Collins was a very old man with gray hair. He was considered the most powerful wizard in the order. Classes had begun and Crystal moved up very quickly in the ranks. She was 100 times better than any wizard in her class. Grand Master Collins called her to his office one day. He said, “You are the most powerful wizard I have ever seen.”. “Thank you,” said Crystal. “But you are no wizard,” said Mr Collins. Crystal began to freak out. After everyone found out they doubted her and said she could never make it in the wizarding world. Crystal rejoiced as she left the office. Her studies continued and she was becoming the best magic user to ever live. One day Crystal was called up to Mr. Collins office again. “Hello Crystal. Recently we’ve been troubled by a mysterious power source coming from the south border. We want you to go find out what it is and report back.” Crystal was amazed that she had been summoned for such a big task. After a two hour horse ride to the south border, she noticed the air was heavy and weird. Then she saw a goblin that had magic jump out at her. They fought long and hard, and then she realized something. The goblin had a blue jewel on a necklace around its neck. Crystal had heard stories of this jewel that once was so powerful it could use any magic and nothing could stop it. The jewel used to be in the town she lived in, but was stolen and never seen again. If she returned it and restored her towns name, everyone would finally believe she could do anything. Crystal then saw a big branch and tugged it off of the tree using a spell. It fell on the goblin and forced him to lay stuck. Then crystal grabbed the jewel and got on her horse to head back to town. After she returned the jewel back to the town hall, everyone rejoiced and praised her good deeds. Crystal proved that a girl could be a wizard and even do the hardest accomplishments.

This fairy tale represents how anybody can be the hero, where in some older fairy tales it is always the guy who saves the day. Crystal receives doubt from everybody and proves them wrong by getting back the town’s pride and name. Crystal’s story shows that anyone can be the hero too, and that you have to overcome adversity to get this sometimes, which is also an older type of lesson taught in fairy tales. This also teaches children you can do what you want to if you use hard work and that you shouldn’t always count somebody out because of their background and who they are.

There were 2 kids who lived in a neighborhood together, they were neighbors. Their names were Tyler and Ethan, Tyler was 8 years old, and Ethan was 7. They both went to school together and they were both in the 2nd grade. Tyler and Ethan did everything together. They ate ice cream, rode their bikes, they tried to dig a hole to China. One day, Tyler and Ethan wanted to go on a walk to the local playground in the front of the neighborhood. But in order to do this, they had to get permission from their parents. Tyler said “Mom Dad, can I go on a walk to the playground with Ethan?” “Not by yourself” says the mom, “It’s too dangerous to go out there alone. You could get yourself hurt.” “Pleeeeeeease mom?” “Ok fine, but you have to be home by 5 o’clock” It was 3:45, and Ethan also had to convince his dad to go to the playground. “Dad, Can I go to the playground with Tyler” “It’s very dangerous without an adult, son.” His dad said, “But you can go as long as you promise to not get yourself hurt or in trouble.” Ethan responds with “I promise dad” “Ok son, go out and have fun.” Ethan and Tyler walk outside to the playground, they swing on the swings, and slide down the slides, until an old man in a white van pulls up to the playground with a bucket of candy “You kids want some candy? Here, climb into the back of my trunk to get some!” “Yes yes yes yes CANDY! Ethan and Tyler both yell, they walk over to the mysterious white van oblivious to what the man was plotting. They get into the van, there’s no candy, and *click* the doors and trunk to the van have been shut and locked, both confused. Tyler and Ethan scream “HELP, HELP PLEASE!” Both still confused on what’s going on, they don’t know where they’re going, then out of the blue, there is a loud banging on the van. “Please step out of the vehicle” can be heard from inside the van. Ethan and Tyler look out the window in the trunk to see a police officer standing next to the driver’s side window. He opens the trunk to the van “You okay kids?” “What happened?” They both say, still confused and don’t know what happened. “We gotta get you home, take my hand, kids.” They walk to the police car to see Tyler’s mon and Ethan’s dad in the back of the car too. “Thank goodness you kids are ok, I thought we were gonna lose you!” Says Tyler’s mom. “What did we tell you about getting in trouble or hurt? You’re coming home with me!” Says Ethans father, they get home and they remember a life lesson that will impact their lives forever.

I made this fairy tale and it is about child trafficking and kidnapping. In this case Tyler and Ethan were young and were probably never taught by their mom and dad to never take anything from strangers. The kidnapper is the antagonist of the story and is the ‘villain’ who kidnapps the children and tries to take them to his house. While Tyler and Ethan were young, they were both the protagonists and the main characters. Child kidnapping is fairly common especially to tobblers. Which is why you should teach your kids about this at a very young age.

Once upon a time, there was a boy named Samuel. He had many friends and a normal life, but one day his life changed forever. When he was biking to the local gas station to get some Sour Patch Kids and some gum. He went in and saw a young child trying to get the self-checkout to work, as a caring person, he would help anyone in need.

So he went up to the child and helped him confirm the order for the large amounts of candy that the child had in his wagon totaling at a cost of $669.75. The child then said “thank you!” and gave him some of the candy. Samuel walked out of the store and saw a young woman struggling to open a car door, he then goes up to her and asks if she needs any assistance, the woman then starts shushing Samuel because of how loud he is. He then goes to the back of the SUV and opens the trunk of the car, he climbs in and opens the door from the inside for the woman.

She then smiles and picks up the toolbox filled with lock picks and large hammers, as I get out she says “thank you!” and gives Samuel a ski mask she was wearing over her head as some sort of reward. Samuel lived in Florida, but you never know when you need a ski mask to go skiing. While he was biking home he saw a dog in a cage who was aching to get out, he then went up to help the poor dog out. He went up to the dog and used the key hanging next to the cage to let him out.

The dog then runs away as he is now free from his cage and can live on without worrying about being in a cage. After he made it home, he got a knock on the door. He looked at his ring camera and saw a frustrated mother, a police officer, and an old lady holding the Yorkie dog that he had freed. He then opened the door wondering if he was having a surprise party at his house.

The frustrated mother, holding her wallet, accused him of “teaching her son to use her credit card without permission”, Samuel couldn’t believe it, he surely would have never done something like that to an innocent boy. After the mother was done ranting, Samuel gave all the savings he had from his summer job to the woman in order to pay her back. The Officer then came over and said that Samuel had “participated in an illegal carjack”, Samuel then got a fine of $2000, and now the money for his savings next Summer is also going to be drained down the gutter. The Old Lady came up to him and started tugging his ear and yelling that he “broke the dog out of the cage and made him escape”, Samuel started to realize that when he was helping people, he was helping them do the wrong things. Thus making him punished for what he had done, even out of good intentions.

Context:
This story is meant to teach children that it is important to mind your own business even if it seems morally right, as it can cause you to get into situations that can negatively affect you. I think that this is an important life lesson that can help reduce the stress of having multiple things going on.

Once upon a time in a village far away, there was a widowed man and his teenage daughter named Mila. Mila was a beautiful girl and she was raised well. She would always like to help out around the house.

One day, the man decided to remarry. The woman he married also had a teenage daughter named Greta that wasn’t too pretty. She was vain and mean and didn’t like to do any chores or help out.

The stepmother didn’t like Mila and she was mean to her, so one day Mila decided to run away. She walked for a while and she got tired so she decided to stop by a well. The well was old and dried and full of weeds so Mila started to pull the weeds and clean the well. Suddenly the well started to talk and said “Thank you good girl for taking care of me I’ll never forget and maybe someday I’ll repay you”. Mila left the well and after a while, she decided to sit under a pear tree for some shade. The pear tree was covered in caterpillars so Mila decided to help the tree and she took all of the caterpillars off of the pear tree. Then the pear tree started talking and thanked Mila for her goodness and for saving him. After she got some rest, she continued walking and stumbled upon a house in the forest. She knocked on the door and an old woman answered. Mila told the woman that she just needs some shelter for the night and the woman agreed to let her stay. Mila started to clean the house and do the dishes and sweep the floors and even make dinner for the both of them. Before she went to bed, the old woman transformed into a beautiful young woman because she was a forest fairy. She told Mila she would repay her for her kindness and she told her to go into the attic and pick up a chest but told her not to open it until she gets home. Mila went into the attic and saw it was full of treasure chests of all sizes so she picked a small one and came back. The fairy was surprised so she asked why she picked a small one and Mila said she thinks that was what she deserves. The next morning, she decided to return home and show her dad the treasure chest. On her way back, she found the pear tree that she helped and the branches were full of ripe pears. The tree lowered his branches for her so she could pick as many as she wanted. After she ate and rested, she continued walking. She got really thirsty and came upon the well from yesterday. The well gave her cold refreshing water. The girl thanked the well and continued to walk. She arrived home and her dad was so happy to see her for he had missed her dearly as well as she missed him. The stepmother and stepsister weren’t happy. Mila told them what happened and they opened the treasure chest. The chest started spilling beautiful clothing and money and jewelry. When they saw the miracle, the stepmother told Greta to leave immediately and find the house in the woods and get her chest.

Greta left and she stumbled upon the well which was again in a bad shape. The well asked Greta for help, but she said she will do no such thing to ruin her nails, so she left the well. After a while, she stumbled upon the pear tree which was full of caterpillars and the tree asked Greta to help him, but she refused. After some time, she found the house in the woods and the old lady opened the door for her. Greta didn’t help the lady with any chores, she complained a lot and finally went to bed. The old lady transformed again into a beautiful fairy, and told the girl to get into the attic and pick up a chest but not to open it until she got home. While she was in the attic, the girl picked the biggest chest she could find and brought it down. She told the fairy that it is what she thinks she deserves. She left the house, dragging her huge chest for it was very heavy. But she was looking forward to showing her mom what she got. She got hungry and she found the pear tree which was now full of delicious pears and she tried to grab some so she could eat. But the tree raised his branches so she couldn’t reach any. Upset, she started to walk again, dragging her huge chest. Hungry and thirsty, she found the well. But when she tried to get water, she couldn’t reach it. Finally, exhausted, she arrived home and because she was selfish, she didn’t want her stepsister and father to see the “treasures” from her chest. So she went into her room with her mom and opened it. From the chest, all kinds of wild beasts came out and ate them both.

Mila and her father lived happily and well for many years.

The moral of the story is to always be good and do good to others as you want to be done to you and hard work pays off.
